Zooey doesn’t get knocked out from Ladiva’s super. She just looks confused at the whole thing.
I like punchy characters in games with swords. I also like Lowain even though his playstyle doesn’t fit me.
Played a bunch last night. Netcode was holding on better than SF5 by large margins. These wack ass walkspeeds are a problem though.Characters feel like they’re walking with cement shoes.

@volt, @JustBrowsing, i’m probably not going to do that drawing thing right now. I don’t really have much time to draw these days, and if I do have spare time, i’d rather be pressing buttons.
I’m going to have two weeks off between the mid to end of May so I can do something then.
Finally going to try out GBVS because of Zooey. Ngl I’m not sure I can jump right back into a fighting game. I’ve been on Overwatch and Apex Legends the last few years.
Didn’t like SF5 that much?
I liked it at first. I was playing R. Mike and then Overwatch came out when I got to Gold rank. I was really hoping for Sakura but she didn’t play like in SF4 so I didn’t like her. Same thing with Poison and they were my mains before so I pretty much lost all interest.
Menat was another character that I really liked but I just couldn’t grasp her moveset.
I tried some Blazblue Cross Tag Battle but the online was dead. I hope the online isn’t dead with GBVS.
Online is fine for GBVS in Europe at least.
Mr.Flowers is UK so he should be fine.
He can have SiFher duck him too.
She’s clearly broken. None of the other characters were this good except maybe lance, but I think Zooey is better than pre nerf lance. She’s walking around two tapping peeps and looping her mixups for free.
alright, so the thing with Zooey is the rekka which is also a frame trap and the ender is safe on block? That can’t be right. If she goes through the whole thing she is -4…does anybody have a 4 frame light? Throws are 8 frames so she doesn’t really have to stress getting tossed.
First rekka hit is -4, second is -8. But she can basically just bully people with it and if there’s a wyvern waiting, you can’t really challenge it. She can basically play footsies with it and if she catches you once with it, she can go into the knockdown ender and get the party started.
So the pet doesn’t go into cool down until all the wyvern gauge is used to. Then it recharges and once its back form cool down, she gets some wyvern gauge back. Is that last part right? I’m messing with the training mode settings to see if she is naturally gets some back after the cool down is done or not.
She gets half of the gauge back when it comes back
So about this. If she charges up a little bit during the cooldown, then she is getting 50% on top of what she charged. Was hoping it meant that she only got filled up to 50%.
Then she can activate any wyvern attack so long as there’s gauge left. The drain on the gauge happens after the attack is activated, it isn’t like an EX move that won’t come out unless the meter is already there.
Hmm…
I really don’t understand why her natural comboing rekka is the safe one, and the one that doesn’t combo is the punishable one, expecially since the one that combos is also a low
I like it. Probably signaling at the fact that she is above most beings. The original game states:
A girl whose physical appearance resembles that of Primal Beast “Grand Order”. Though she seems to be an ordinary girl, she calls herself “arbitrator”, and there’s something transcendental about the aura wrapping around her.
When negative emotions threatened to disturb the balance of the world, Zooey returned. Entrusted with the Divine Generals’ power to act as a priestess, she now fights to protect the world and her friends who live there.
The world is in the midst of impending jeopardy—a disaster that only this arbitrator’s true form can stop. But will her excessive empathy for the people interfere with her duty?
The fragments of consciousness all hoping to protect this world enveloped in stars and skies gathered together to give birth to this young girl as the arbitrator of the skies. With a legion of dragons by her side, she brandishes an azure sword ready to destroy any foe who dares to disturb the balance of the world.
This young girl who keeps the balance in the skies descends upon the cerulean seas in a lovely swimsuit. She sets her responsibilities aside for a brief respite with dear friends.
???
Ooh and THEN, if you hit her while the wyvern is doing his start up animation, you stuff it. That’s fine. But she only loses a little bit of the gauge as opposed to the whole cost it incurred from doing the full attack.
Other way around. According to the wiki, the L rekka is -6, the M and H rekkas are -4. All the enders are -8.
Her far standing M has 5 active frames though. Holy shit on that nonsense. Probably means she can confirm the balls out of it.
@BraboChoke MK11 isn’t really “simplified” compared to X, it’s just different. In fact 11 has more mechanics than X
Katalina still at the top, her “nerfs” are like a moqsuito bite to elephant’s skin
I mean that’s fine and all but why put yourself into suffering by playing a shit character like Soriz
lol
I think I’ve seen some peeps call her the Kid Goku of Granblue already. Methinks people are a little overreacting. But just a little. She’s dirty with the dragon mixups, I’ll give her that
But apparently Zooey is like top tier in the gacha to the point devs had to balance content around her specifically so if she’s strong in Versus I guess that’s just ArcSys being true to the source material
Shoutouts to Granblue summer units, the artists know how to cater to all kinds of fetishes with that game
I got to my promotion matches from B to A and ran into a Bubs that was playing Zooey before and getting destroyed, I couldn’t win, never had the MU before
