I know this is a couple of days old now, but the similarities between Menat (SFV) and Carol (Savage Reign) could just be that they both draw inspiration from rhythmic gymnastics. While not identical, Kumi (Asuka 120%) has a few somewhat similar moves as well.
Definitely could be a factor .
