The GranGlue Fighter Lounge: Corona Virus bodied Shadaloo Free AF

You hit the nail right on the head. It’s a decent game, but the story and character-building are nothing special. The ending is very predictable too. The gameplay is pretty standard Uncharted fare (with less climbing) and gets tedious towards the end of the game.

All the 100+ post talk about Pokemon and several generations and not a single mention of the pokegirls

shame on you all

Funny to think that back then, developers should learn from Naughty Dog on how to make a gay character like Bill. And then Naughty Dog themselves forgot how to do it.

Honestly, I went to bed really salty
But I’ve been thinking about it, and honestly I think one of my biggest problems when it comes to 3s is that it was the first fighting game that I ever actually tried to understand.

Whenever I play it, I revert back to the player I was a year ago, which was a jump happy button mashing scrub. It’s incredibly frustrating because it’s feels like “stupid shitty” play is muscle memory.

I think that’s why I like BBTAG so much, because I approached it with a year behind me, and I’m actually taking time to learn normals, tech, and match-ups…

Also, I’m considering giving skullgirls a go. They just juiced up the netcode, and I bounced off of it when I tried to pick it up because I was so green; tag games intimidated me and I couldn’t execute worth a shit.

Let me know if you want games in SG

I am making small progress.

If you have it on PS4, yeah, I’m down!

The vast majority of the player base is on PC, and PS4 is a ghost town, so i’d recommend buying it on PC to be honest.

I also don’t know how much I’m going to play it, so don’t get it for me, but if you’re like me and PC isn’t much of an option and want to try it anyway, then let me know.

well sheeeiiit. I can’t do PC either. I do have it on PS4 though. Bummer, you figure with their focus on netplay they would have crossplay too. I’ll boot it up later today and see if I can figure some stuff out

Also, regarding 3S, that’s good that you’ve developed like that!

I unfortunately mash in every game, so I just keep transferring that crap to the next one.

It’s more of a muscle memory reaction to pressure/being overwhelmed for me. I really want to curve that out of my playing once and for all though. Last night was particularly bad because I was also trying to parry without a clue as to what I was doing, which made Pertho’s pressure that much more overwhelming.

I need to learn to just block and study my opponent, learn their patterns (or recall what they did last wakeup, etc) and understand where my openings are and why. I also need to reflect between rounds and matches.

I think they have crossplay between PS3 and PS4… unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to help find matches, lol. Last time I tried, I sat for 20 minutes without a snag.

Also, for SG, you don’t have to pick a team of three. They buff lesser teams, so a team of a single, lone character is much more dangerous than one character in a team of three. There have been people who won tournaments with one teammate as well, so it is viable.

You can also pick two people on a team too, so it really comes down to who/what you like playing.

I bout threw a conniption when Pertho was just whiffing normals in the corner to build meter and my dumbass was just walking towards him. No dashes, no pressure, just waddling.

It honestly felt like I was drunk. I knew that what I was doing was stupid but i wasn’t doing anything to stop it.

Was a good learning experience, but, fuck man, learning ain’t always the most fun thing to do lol

Don’t forget about us when you get rich of commissions for sex scenes

It’s super time consuming, me being new to it doesn’t help with the speed either. But i do understand the concept and am enjoying it.

Maybe it’s a decent start.

Nothing had crossplay back then, I don’t think it even was a thing when SG dropped.

As for PC, I ran it on an old notebook that couldn’t open Chrome and Paint at the same time without heating up the entire room. Game is dirt cheap too, might as well try it out.

If you get it on PC, I’m definitely willing to play that FT10 you wanted. SG’s netcode is some freaking magical shit.

@PlusFrames same goes for you, y’all gotta try this shit out.

Edit:

Look at these minimum specs, you don’t even need a graphics card lmao.

$10 ain’t bad… I might pick it up to get some games!

Oh wow, it’s actually 10 bucks? It’s usually less.

If you do, let me know if you can actually run it so I delete some stuff to fit the game in my PC.

I’ll see.

I really just hate running my laptop. It’s somewhere between 8-10 years old and has a lot of clutter on it, to the point that I don’t even know what I can remove due to all of the music programs and plug-ins I’ve installed on it.

It’s slow as hell to load anything, and the fan wakes up my wife on another floor. It works, it ran MVC2 somewhat well, but I just hate the thing so much that I never really boot it up unless I really need to.

That’s a lot of the reason I stopped labbing MVC2 to be honest. Not fighting anyone is one thing, but I would’ve been happy just labbing it once a week or something, just to play it. I’m also worried that it’s going to crap out any second, and I can’t replace it now, so I want to keep it dormant when I can.

For what it’s worth I have SG on PC too so if you guys want to play I’m down.
