So I’m trying to play the older version of BlazBlue I own to try it out but for some reason the frame rate is really bad. Stays locked at 30 or less no matter what settings I change and won’t go higher even during completely black loading screens.
I’m sure I can run it since I play GG and other more graphic alloy intense games just fine.
Anyone have any idea what the issue is? I verified the integrity of the game files and the problem is still there.
It’s running on your CPU instead of using your graphics card.
You’ll have to configure it in Nvidia’s control panel or whatever you got. There should be a steam guide on it, it used to happen a lot with ArcSys games.
Alright so you guys literally have to stop mashing.
I’ve tried all sorts of frame traps and other frame positive situations, I’ve whiffed punish a million things, at this point I don’t know what else I can do to show you through gameplay that you should stop hitting buttons.
but I lost 6 game to mashing. that’s my bad.
But c’mon guys just stop hitting buttons. Literally just block.
GGs but for the love of life, just don’t touch your normals.
LoL waifu talk got me reading up on how lol works. I’ve never played a moba before, and after 6 hours and a headache later of vids for newbs, anyone who says FGs are too complex are morons.
Yeah, that’s a big problem I have. I’ll really need to find a way to work on it. I can’t seem to just stop.
I will say that against a lot of your end of round Chun supers, instead of blocking, I kept trying to parry them like an idiot. There was even one that I was blocking and it wouldn’t have chipped me out, yet, mid-super I tried to start parrying it, lol.
But yeah, I definitely need to stop mashing all around. Really, I think that’s one of the biggest flaws I have in any fighting game I play.
It does against random people. Not so much against you guys, but yeah, against random people it does… Maybe I should be playing more random people? It’s been a long time since I fought one, in 3S especially.
Edit: I should add that if I’m getting absolutely worked by you guys multiple fights in a row, then yeah, I start getting upset. Not at you (or whoever), but you know that.
Edit 2: Also, after a match is done, it’s easy for me to look back and know I mashed a lot, but, during the game (and even between matches), I don’t realize it. It just seems to be something that I do when I’m being pressured. I don’t know if it’s an anxiety thing (and pressing buttons feels like I have some sort of control or a chance), or I’m literally just panicking for my life, but that’s when it’s the worst.
I think I’m going to stop trying to parry for the meantime.
I need for get comfortable with blocking and reading my opponent before trying to parry every other attack.
I know that doesn’t sound like it directly solves my mashing issue, but I think it may help. I was trying to parry a lot more attacks than I should have, and because I kept getting hit, it caused me to panic and mash more.
