Nah, you can block highs standing. They just aren’t used for mixup purposes because you can’t take damage from them if you just hold either back or down-back.
There are unblockables and throws and stuff like that, but you’ll find out about that on your own.
Probably the best game of this “generation” of fighters. I’m entering a major at the end of March and Tekken 7 and 3rd Strike are the only things I entered. I’m excited!
That sounds about right. I’m not too fussed about it so long as I can get it pre-loading before I have time to hop on in the evening.
I thought I found a back door through Sony’s site but it just tries to link me out to buy the physical version. I’m assuming Xseed or whoever is shilling that thing is pushing it so may be why the digital US version is going up so last minute.
I’m about 60 years younger than everyone here and all I play is 3rd Strike and hopefully Tekken too. Boomerism does not explain good taste. You are simply one of culture.
3s is my fav street fighter out of the series but I ain’t gonna sit here and pretend that it’s a totally fine and perfect game either lol
Seems like there is a wave of younger individuals getting into the game which is cool. But it’s also bringing back ptsd of all the busted nonsense in the game the more I play it these days lol
Well that’s exactly what happened to me. People who remember when I first started on SRK some months ago will remember me wanting to get into SF but hating SFV and I was in a real bad spot. 3rd Strike solved that for me.
Jazzy Circuit is cool, but I wish it would come to Minnesota. I want to spectate so bad, if not play (I’m not even winning set 1 lmao). Wish I watched Canada Cup too.
Yeah sticking to a character for the learning portion of the game is good.
Having a sub once you are comfortable is good for playing matchups you have bad feelings about with your main. I play Armor King and sometimes switch to Geese for certain matchups, usually the mishimas. It’s mostly out of comfort.
