The GranGlue Fighter Lounge: Corona Virus bodied Shadaloo Free AF

I heard it has a secret ending.

Seriously though. Wtf were they thinking.

Woah, bold words there buddy.

TP is amazing, but did you play BotW?

I’ve yet to actually finish it. I should play it on a real controller instead of playing the GBA version on my phone.

Game low key feels a bit clunky, can’t quite pinpoint why.

Agreed on Phantom Hourglass on “fuck off” tier and nominating Spirit Tracks to it too.

The DS Zeldas are straight up garbage.

TP was fantastic, but playing as the wolf wasn’t for me. It’d be perfect if they took that out, IMO.

Not only do you not playing fighting games, clearly you don’t play Zelda either? :joy:

ALttP works fine, and was definitely a great game for its time. It’s got nothing on the charm and level design of Link’s Awakening though, but is definitely one of the better top-down Zeldas.

Spirit Tracks was too forgettable to be anything else than low. I vaguely remember enjoying parts of it, but I can’t recall anything about the game except Zelda doing Alphonse Elric-impressions.
Same problem I have with Skyward Sword. I don’t remember anything about that game.

Phantom Hourglass was definitely not a forgettable game. I kinda wish it was, the main dungeon in that game made me want to punch things.

Them’s fighting words.

So you cool with those gimmick cashgrabs? That’s on you. I’ll be here playing OoT, Majora’s, BotW and TP. :man_shrugging:

The best thing I can say about ST is that it taught me 2 things.

The first is that my DS had a mic.
The second was when the mic broke.

Fuck these games. Oversimplified gimmick trash.

The touch screen was a gimmick? The way the majority of Phantom Hourglass was designed with that in mind? Pretty relentless gimmick. bahaha

I don’t even really care for Zelda that much. I enjoy most of the ones I play though. Almost finished Link’s Awakening on Switch. ZERO GIMMICKS.

Uhhhhh, yeah?

The game was designed on a gimmick, that doesn’t make it less of a gimmick.

It’s like the Wii having hundreds of games using motion controls for the sake of using motion controls.

TP on the Wii reworked the entire sword controls to fit that gimmick, and you use them the whole game. Is it not a gimmick because of that?

Botw is wack. No dungeons and lame bosses. I dislike the open world and survival mechanics. TP the best, period. :triumph:

Yeah, I suppose if you don’t like the open world focus you won’t like BotW.

Really hoping the sequel delivers on the dungeons and bosses though. The shrines are great, but you really need the dungeons to step up.

The biggest flaw of TP is that once you get past the dungeons (which are some of the best in the series) the bosses are weak and the items are almost worthless.

Did you play Majora’s Mask? I think you’d like the dungeons.

All y’all are wrong.

Best Zelda is clearly Link Between Worlds. Good little story, nonlinear, and that unique mechanic I’ve not seen in any game before or since.

Ok, which one has the best bosses tho?

Most of them are just re-runs of the 8-bit original’s bosses.

Like I’m legit impressed at the variety of boss killing methods that little 8bit game could produce.

They should make a sequel to Faces of Evil and license all the art and cutscenes to Cutesexyrobutts.

I am sure @FengShuiEnergy will agree.

Last Zelda game I played was Twilight Princess and I had the most fun with it. Then again, I only played about 6 Zeldas including TP.

Why make a sequel to that when they can make one of WAND OF GAMELON!

This is pretty cool. I love it when voice actors get together to do stuff like this.
