On a real note, parkour has given me similar injuries and in retrospect, they’re all fucking hilarious and ridiculous.
Because, while initially, the SFV topic was a lot more frequent, this was a lounge thread.
We used to talk a lot about SFV, but as people grew more disillusioned with the game and started dropping it, the “lounge” part started taking over.
So now we chill here because of the people in the thread instead of the actual game.
It’s not that SFV is a banned topic or anything, there just isn’t a lot to be said about it besides “This netcode is trash!”, especially without any tournaments going on.
At least that’s how I see it though.

Street Fighter 5: Netcode Edition has given me nothing but problems, but I’ve come to love Lucia and lab her without gaining any matchup exp with her. Sounds like an excellent use of my time.

There’s nothing wrong with him at all. I’ve seen a few idiots say he’s “racist” with nothing to back it up or understanding of why they say it, but hey I am Huron and I say he’s fine. Plus jean jacket + jeans is not exactly a rare combo on the reservations.

Butt in Garou is a stereotypical and ass representation of South Asians but at least he has flair. I have yet to open my eyelids halfway for Hawk, but to each their own.
People say crazy shit in SRK all the time. The rules and tone of this thread weren’t set up by me. So things are going to basically get moderated based on how Jin handled things.
Even in GD, there’s gotta be a range of shit otherwise I’m going to have to give myself an increase workload that is dysfunctional. Plenty of stuff has been said in this sight that’s beyond questionable, its whether or not you want to plant a figurative line in the sand over certain styles of comments.
Actual threats to life? Bannable without question. This isn’t the place to threaten people’s lives over it.
Implied threats to life? You get one message from me maybe. Either way, you can’t have mods trying to decide whether or not you meant your threat.
People bringing your family when it has fuck all to do with anything happening in SRK? That shit is getting turbo moderated. I’ve seen people bring in family members in GD in a negative way 4 times. None of them ended in any thing remotely close to positive.
Two people not liking each other was hard to moderate without the ignore function. Right now there’s a system function that lets you avoid people. Unless there’s a consistent one sided pattern of behavior, its just tricky to moderate people not liking each other. Its usually a better option to show how one person is just acting like an ass and then normal, every day shaming of it handles it.
There’s a situation similar to that in GD where these two dudes have disliked each other for months and refuse to have one another on ignore. If it isn’t ruining threads altogether, then its regular ass dislike.
Otherwise its asking why not heavily moderated whenever one person loses out on an exchange. Then that sort of gets rid of some of the shit talking that’s been sort of a hallmark of SRK.
Think of it this way: how much of the shit you’ve said to me do you feel should’ve been moderated? if it isn’t crossing the lines mentioned above, then the real issue from the user experience is fights taking too long.
