If they have, it seems that Papa Capcom wants them to stop.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they smell danger from that direction and try to full force stop it.
Wonder if the March release will have a free SFV week again like the last release or any other FG release for that matter.
What a pathetic company…
Competition is good for the consumer.
I hope Granblue, Strive and others do very well, needs to force Capcom to step up their game.
Well Tekken is doing well an Capcom is unfaced, even with losing the main spot to Tekken and slowly falling off to the other games.
Hope GB just runs over SF and leaves only a flatend pancake behind.
I do wonder what Capcom have learned from SFV.
Do they consider it’s business model a success ? Do they consider the game’s design good ?
They fixed some stuff since the game’s release that was incredibly poor but i still say that this game is carried a lot by the Street Fighter name.
Hopefully they won’t rely on that again and deliver an average product when / if SF 6 is going to be released.
I mean, I don’t think Capcom has anything to do with this. Infexious, in the last week, while promoting CyGames, played an FT10 in SFV and got 2nd in a DBFZ tournament. I think CyGames doesn’t like seeing the conflict, but they don’t want to hinder their players either, so they’re dissolving the team.
Capcom isn’t always the root of all evil you know.
Chances are, they haven’t and SFVI will carry on like SFV.
Delivering you a half assed product, that gets continuesly half assed troughout it’s name and Pro player carried life.
As i said before it’s now wrong to keep your expectations low. As it reduces the chance you get disappointed.
But it’s pretty clear you enjoyed some SF titles at a point in time so i would imagine you do want SF 6 to be a good game.
Recent Capcom games ( remakes ) have seen big success, maybe it’s a sign of change ? Maybe their entire FG team has changed, who knows.
I for one really want SF 6 to be a big and successful title.
Recent Capcom titels are not in line with Capcoms FG division, which mainly shines trough incompetence.
I have no expectations, I’m sure it will be the same shit again with a different number.
Off topic :
Had this song in my mind all day long
Both versions are good but i love the alternate one the most
Well I also had a song on my mind all day long.
Listen to Yakuza 0s Soundtrack people it’s a 10/10
SF5 encourages and rewards some pretty degenerate gameplay and I hate that people that started with SF5 will expect that as some what of a norm.
Capcom usually learns something from previous games, but they also completely flub on something else. It’s basically there fighting game circle of life.
Ill rather see Capcom build their future sf games slowy but had solid content from gameplay modes both single player and multiplayer then dlc updates of future characters and stages.
So far SFV content ended positively but the vanilla release of the content wasn’t good.
Kuze is the fuckin’ man. That King Enma back piece is sick.
More like we paid full price for a beta release then after few years we finally got the full game.
Hopefully this shit never happens again.
I do wonder if they were forced to rush it’s release because their partnership with Sony.
I hope we get some hilarious threads out of it when SF6 rolls around like the:
How are footsies gonna work without FADC?
God fucking damn it,
Making shoryus safe with FADC was pretty bullshit ,though they nerfed it to be unsafe if you forward dashed it.
But the mechanic was pretty fun imo. Allowed for some crazy custom combos that looked and felt good.Much better then the V-system.
Time to delete everything from my HD and pray I can run it at minimum.
Probably not tho.
Watching a GranBlue stream.
People complaining about the netcode.
Well RIP this purchase. Game looks amazing and got nobody to play it with. Meanwhile 30th Anniversary giving me great matches in 3S against people that SF5 struggles.
Sigh, just wtf?
Got 5 bucks a month and ok internet ?
PS : you can try the free version as well , see how it runs for you.
Nah, Focus Attack in general was a WOAT mechanic.
Also, CyGames having to disband their eSports FG Team makes perfect sense.
It’d be like Capcom having an eSports team. Blatant conflict of interest.
