The GranGlue Fighter Lounge: Corona Virus bodied Shadaloo Free AF

Of course the game is as busted as MvC, it’s a hyper fighter, it’s supposed to be batshit insane!
No one wants a MvC where both opponents do low forward into fireball 24/7

Because what you should be buying is the BBTAG 2.0 which includes the DLC and then you only had to buy the DLC for that one.

Is like buying SFV instead of SFVCE, or T7 instead of T7 UE. You dont do that.

That one is 30 bills. Hmm…that’s too rich for my blood based on how much I probably wouldn’t play it.

Sad times. Even FF7 coming out and I’m gonna give that a big ol’ :man_shrugging:

T7 is currently on sale.
If you decide to buy it i recomend going out with the T7 Ultimate edition since it has both season passes included for like $25

BBTAG and its DLC is also on sale, dunno if it includes BBTAG 2.0.
But in theory you wouldnt be spending beyond 30 bucks either.

The Power Rangers game is on sale, but its DLC isnt.
So you will end spending around 60 buck to get all of what is out for the game right now.

With T7 and BBTAG there is a chance that after this sale it will get other discounts on the Golden Week, but i am sure the prices will be either the same as now, or barely different.

Do the sensible thing and buy the game and just buy the DLC chars that you are sure you will play.
Like i said, the game is on sale now, so at worst you will be spending around 15 bucks at most.

Later if you want to have all of it, buy the dlc as you see it fit, or not.

Is what i did with SFV for my personal account, where i only bought the DLC chars that i knew i would play (3 btw) and it was only when CE came out that i finally had all of it.

Because that is the whole idea, lol
It is also why the game has a simplified control scheme, since the difficulty comes in the player to player interactions.

New GBVS patch is real good

Now I want that.

I might do that. I can play a couple of homies on both so they wouldn’t go entirely to waste.

Still gotta find the SamSho 5P people and learn that.

Yeah I might do that. Although the BBTag normal roster is slim pickings.

It has Nu and Gordeau, that’s enough to make a lot of people send you hatemail.

Some optimal starter, two assists corner combos since I have nothing better to do.
Also, I play Chie/Tager on BBtag. How fucked am I?

Holy shit balls. Money Heist season 4 is the best season yet.

A group of about 8 people taking down a raid boss.

You know, is funny how when i main Tager on BB, and Waldstein on UNI, i cant use them on BBTAG because either i end trying to do stuff due to muscle memory that is not possible on BBTAG, or it ends ruining how i play with them on BB and UNI.

I think the point I was trying to get across is that BBTag is not the pinnacle of competition and it’s kind of kusoge. Idk, I’m not here to shit on parades.

Anything is competitive as long as people compete in it.

Considering how kusoge mvc2 and mvc3 are and they were still considered competitive games, i would say that a game being kusoge doesnt really holds on a game being competitive or not.

As long as there are people willing to play competitively, any game can be competitive.

Case in point, in my country there was a compétitive scene for Mario Party mini games for years, with tournaments being held across the year and the finals being televised.

Not saying it isn’t competitive. Kind of don’t really know where to continue this conversation.

I understand what you are trying to say.
That the chaotic nature of the game is not the type of game you will see yourself investing on trying to be competitive, but it can be fun.

And that is totally fine.
Not every game needs to be taken seriously by everyone.
I personally could never get into competitive play for mvc2, in fact kinda hated playing it.
But still helped when it could to the competitive scene, since i had a lot of friends that loved playing the shit out of it, lol.

I played a lot of mvc2 back in the day. The majority of that game, considering matchups, is hella kusoge. It was really the top tiers that made it interesting on high level play.

Maybe fighting games aren’t a standard for competition if I think if it like that. What would be? Chess? :joy:

Edit: the answer is definitely Connect 4
