Depends on what the people think is anime.
It is why i use different definitions.
Ground based and with strong air mobility, and the in between of those two.
That way you can easily talk about games that the spacing games is mostly played on the ground like GBFVS, SF.
Games that offer strong air mobility options allowing for a more 2d spacing game like GG, MVC
And the inbetween that has some sort of mobility option that while is not as strong as the later, it opens a different type of game than a regular ground based, like KOF and UNIClr
Artstyle is every game that is not named MK.
HELL, some people even call Skullgirls animke as well, despite being more in line with the Tex Avery era of cartoons.
It is why most people refrain to use the art style as a reason of why a game is anime.
From what I just looked at, it doesn’t get you high. It seems to treat a lot of stuff including anxiety, seizures, depression and acne.
It has the relaxing features but I don’t know what exactly that means.
To be fair to those guys, the main character is a school girl mixed with a Japanese creature along with the references to everything. And fanservice since American games don’t do that apparently.
Tekken is on the same vein of style you see on seinen stuff like MPD Psycho, Cowboy Beebop, Himiko to Hatchin, Ergo Proxy etc.
Anime/Manga is more than just the style of your naruto’s, isekais, etc.
If we are pedantic, anime/manga style, is any drawn regardless of its style made in japan.
Lets not forget that Tekken also has an anime, lol.
And it has people turning into super saiyan demons to fight.
Anime robo girls, anime highschool girls, anime oujos that are so goddamn rich, etc, etc.
And worst of all (only if you ask pertho) it has cosplayers.
That is some deep weeb shit bro.
Both look as equally anime.
Just a different artstyle.
And referencing different eras, SF with a more 80’s 90’s anime look, and Hyde a more 00’s 10’ anime look.
With SFV, Capcom devs have admitted to having ideas for how they want characters to play, and have at times changed characters to better fit the desired roles even when balance apparently wasn’t an issue. That approach can limit the potential of some characters.
I’ve mentioned before that during the Alpha era, Capcom admitted to balancing some characters in part to fit story power levels, aiming to deliberately make certain characters better or worse than the rest.
