The GranGlue Fighter Lounge: Corona Virus bodied Shadaloo Free AF

Perhaps, but it could also be that you without knowing exploited the weakness of your opponent and his char.
You basically exposed that player, that he falls under preassure and doesnt know how to handle it. lol

Even Guilty Gear at it’s whackest has more Neutral and Neutral Interactions than SFV could ever dream off.
Uni has gigantic buttons and extremly good space control tools.
Uni is literally the definition of “what if we make this trong? But across all characters!”

Heck as hectic as it is, even Melty and BB are more Neutral focused than SFV at it’s best.
You have entire characters who’re Top 5 because they have such a dominating Neutralgame.

You can do more in Neutral, than walk forward and back and whiffing buttons for 60 seconds.

Hakumen vs Tager, nuff said.

Everybody gangsta until Haku yells “Unit Cookie Dough”.

Not against what you said.

But daddy Capcom stamped walking forward and back while whiffing buttons in my mind for several years.

Then I pick I-No and you tell me her neutral is ass.

Cipher you are a villain or a hero ?

I-Nos Neutral is ass.
She’s all about doing Mixups 24/7

Also Daddy Capcom is a bad dad. He also tells you his Rollback is actually good.
Look at the other dads, they have better Netcode and Neutral.

Ino’s neutral depends a lot of her specials and her setups.
Her goal is to get in and start mixing you up, so her toolkit has been designed around that.
Her normals arent bad, is just that they arent great either.

For a guy that’s only been playing SF titles seriously when it comes to fg getting into anime fighting games has proved to be a bit tricky ain’t gonna lie.

Gonna try Granblue but mostly interested in Strive.

Yea I know it gets hate buy I kinda like what I saw so far.

From my experience when getting new players into other games, most of the times the problems steem from not being able to see the equivalence right away.

I think that is more hard for an exclussive SF player to jump into other games because they dont have an equivalent for the air neutral and spacing game.

Also, because depending of the sf they come from, the pace of the game can be slower, and have trouble understanding that the neutral is there to serve the purpose to set their gameplan, and not be the end game most of the time.

I usually recomend to get accostumed to the new options they have
Before trying to learn anything about the universal mechanics of the game, or the special, combos, etc. I think that is better to learn the mobility options at your dispossal.

Then learn the basc defensive mechanics.
Their usage comes with time, by playing the game.

They are less complicated than they seem.

Then perhaps a character that requires thinking like Laura will be the perfect choice to flex those brain muscles :muscle:

Speaking of Bonita, it is sunday, time to go to the Bonita church

Neutral is that thing that happens when if I anti air you you’ll think twice about jumping again.

I shall keep that in mind.

Thanks.

It gets hate as a GG Game. If you like SFV for what it is, you’ll probably like Strive.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with liking SFV or Strive. All FGs have their own kind of jank and their good points.

The one thing that unites them all is that the netcode of all of them are ass.

I don’t hate SFV but I don’t really like it either.

I am not looking for a similar game to SFV.

Even though getting old sucks, I wish you a very happy birthday and tons of blessings and wisdom to boot. Ya done taught me things here, ya know and I’m better off because of it. I mean I probably wouldn’t have discovered The Ninja Saviors if not for you. So yeah, you are appreciated. Get well soon!

Strive seems riddled with most of the same mistakes SFV did. I don’t think you’ll like it.

We shall see.

Don’t even know if it’s gonna be on PC. I don’t own a console.
