Gonna give people the Granboot?
What else does one do on Twitter besides argue pointlessly about dumb stuff?
Lmao Granboot. I’m taking that one.
Yo Plus, did you get the bike before beating Ganonpork?
This thing is good! It’s like the Giant Horse with the constant acceleration but it won’t buckle in front of a Lynel.
Now all that’s left is the rest of the shrines and frying that bacon. Couple Koroks too for good measure.
Stole it from the GBVS Discord. They legit got an emote of Gran’s boot.
Probably no one cares, but I’m in a mahvel mood. There’s an MVCI online tournament about to start…
I am too old for this shit.
Guy is telling that just because you made to 8% of the player base, we should call you good when I don’t even consider myself good at the game when I make top 5 on my locals consistently.
They are FGC, sure, but that doesn’t mean giving them a pat in the head and telling them they are “good” will help the scene to improve in level and skill.
FFS, I am fucking angry.
See, this is why math is evil. Instead of measuring skill, these fools cling to that fancy 8% like they wouldn’t drown in pools.
Analytics was a mistake.
(This is actually a basketball joke.)
Edit: Fuck the Rockets.
I need Dr. Deadpool to come up in here and ask a question:
Honestly, some of the shit I just saw was the hypest stuff I’ve seen in a while. The game is fun to watch. Only turning it off because I wants to press some buttons myself.
Yeah, I had all of the shrines and side missions done (except for ones in the castle) before I did the Champions Ballad.
Then I did the final master sword trial and went straight to the Castle.
Ryu’s Hurricane Kick in HF.
Invincible start-up, invincible recovery(!), comboable, knocks down, huge damage, often trades with attacks it shouldn’t trade with, goes over sonic booms, great for escaping the corner, can be done in the air and is relatively safe on block and sometimes even plus.
Best move in a game that’s chock-full of best moves.
You’re only complaining because its one of the few moves that reliably anti airs Blanka’s neutral jump hk.
Good is relative i suppose.
Like I’m good compared to my wife at fighting games.
Why get riled up over it? If he wants to think he’s good then fine one day he’ll run into someone that gives him the reality check. But he is good compared to bronze and silver .
@vhozite have you played BFTG online yet? If so, have you had any issues with disconnects?
I’ve played 4 matches. During my first, there was a disconnection (and I thought my opponent RQ’d because I was working him), but now in my 4th game, the session disconnected and I returned to the main menu, so I can only assume it was on my end, but my internet is fine… makes my wonder if my 1st opponent really RQ’d or the network/server sucks.
Edit: and the last disconnect counted as a loss on my end, which is good I guess to prevent RQs.
Edit 2: okay, now i’m Level 6 and they put up against someone who’s level 531 who wiped my ass with my own face. Matchmaking in ranked seems non-existent.
Edit 3: another disconnect (I technically won, so it wasn’t me), but 3 disconnects in 6 matches is ridiculous. Fuck this game. Don’t know why I didn’t see any mention of this when I was reading up on this game before buying it.
Edit 4: turning off crossplay to see if that helps
Edit 5: 4th match since last edit seemed okay. The guy disconnected but i’m 99% certain he RQ’d. I was perfecting him, and on his last guy he did a Super that I blocked and then he dipped.
FInal edit: 5 matches since turning off crossplay and no more disconnects (other than the obvious RQ). It takes a noticeably longer time to find matches now, but still only seems to take 2-3 minutes. Just feels long because you can’t play while you wait.
There doesn’t seem to be any matchmaking though - you just seem to fight whoever is available. Also, you seem to rank up even if you lose
Nah not yet I don’t play fighters online until I have a laundry list of things labbed. And I haven’t been playing bc Apex lol
Lol, honeslty, matchmaking is kinda fucked. I’ve already played 3 different people (against 8 different opponents in total) that TOD me whenever they touched me, so it’s probably good to lab decent combos before going in.
I don’t care much about losing, I just wanted to test the waters and see what real matches were like because playing the AI wasn’t fun. Real matches were though.
Yeah with a game like that I’m not going online until I’m sure I can confirm a kill off any touch or at least convert an AA or throw into dmg
boi…all my games will collect dust when nioh 2 comes out
Me, when we playing I’ll stream it
