So I picked up an arena “fighter” recently ducks thrown tomatoes… One’s Justice 2 since I’m such a fan of My Hero Academia, and I gotta say outside of the frequent ragequits and poor matchmaking, I’m having a good time!

Since it wouldnt work at all on the new system due stage transitions, is too hard for the smooth brain crowd they are aiming for, and his gameplan is one of those they want to remove from the game.

I actually dislike it because is on par with the whole unmetal aesthetics that strive has, replacing everything metal for jpop/kpop and goofy shit.

I still don’t see it. Millia’s trailer still has her keep someone in place with the disc so it doesn’t seem completely gone. But getting rid of Ky’s powered up fireballs is a point in your favor.
I also don’t see anything cutesy about Eddie’s new design. More alienesqe and out of this world than anything. But I know that’s your opinion so I won’t try to change that. Honestly the only thing that screams less metal May’s new design and the UI and they already confirmed that they’re changing the latter.

It’s still far from classic gg in terms of metal aesthetic but imo Strive is closer to it than xrd was
Xrd was beautiful but for gg I felt the colors were way too vibrant/loud. Strives washed out look is less anime and dudes like faust/ Eddie definitely got grungier

Honestly… GG hasn’t felt that ‘metal’ since XX. Specifically Slash because Accent Core made the overall game a bit brighter and got rid of the blood. Xrd cranked up the brightness by like, 100. Strive actually looks more subdued aesthetically than Xrd. The colors are more… I dunno, ‘washed out’? and the models look a bit more proportionate and serious. Still looks pretty though. Just different.

I really do like Strive Millia’s colors over Xrd’s. Bright yellow definitely wasn’t a good look for her.

That is the default in Xrd Rev. I say it’s perfect from showing happy go lucky bride to prisoner.
