Damn, those load times in SoD2. This is what I hope to see in PS5 too, so many fighting games would greatly benefit from minimizing them. Most egregious examples include SamSho, T7, SC6, Granblue
Honestly even on PC on an SSD the load times in GBVS are pretty long… still shorter than SF though.

It’s 2020. 20 second load times is considered bad. Back in my day, we had to wait 3 full minutes.

I do wonder who will win the console wars this time around.

The Series is more powerful than the desktop I had built last November. I still need to see more on its Ray Tracing performance but its GPU looks 2080Ti otherwise. That is nuts. I may have to swap my 5700XT for a “6700XT” if RDNA2 has this kind of performance jump.

Well AMD’s profit margin on Navi GPUs has to be high. The dies are much smaller than Vega and Navi has a higher MSRP. The Series X GPU has a die with 56 CUs (52 active). The 5700XT die only has 40 CUs and all are active. So it has 40% more CUs the die. Can’t imagine what the PC GPU with all 56 CUs boosting ove 2Ghz will do. And that isn’t even the top of line Navi 2 chip.

Rollback being implemented across the board in modern fighters would at least allow the FGC majors to continue in some shape or form this, just purely online instead of attending in person
