You kind of have no point character, but it’s fine.
I think you are forced to run piccolo/yamcha/Tien as the order though.

I’m leaning towards Broly, Bardock and Black at the moment.
That’s a good team.
I would argue SSJ Goku and Trunks are better than black, but if you like Black that is a solid team.
My main squad is ZBroly/21/(Trunks/SSJ Goku), so I play a similar shell. (Note: I swap the order of 21 and Broly a lot)

All teams and characters are viable in ranked.
I was playing SSJ Goku as an anchor before but heard Black got s few nice buffs whilst Goku got some nerfs.
I’m not playing the game to a level where i can make the most of Trunks’ mobility tbh. I’m still getting to grips with the games universal movement options.
Edit. I also like the idea of having a cmd grab on my anchor.

I’m perverted, but not that perverted that I leave the bush for every Waifu name dropped.
It’s more that once your opponents are used to Black’s stuff… he kinda doesn’t have anything to fall back on.
His teleports and command grabs are very reactable, and don’t have good risk reward. So then you have to fall back on his neutral which is only okay. Trunks and Goku are just more solid characters in general, even without the flashy stuff.
The most surprising thing about this is that there’s a tournament called Comfest.
I’ll see how it goes. I definitely want a beam assist there so they all tick that box. I’m not loyal to any of these characters to be honest. If i can open people up with someone better solo I’ll gravitate that way for sure.

Black has much better stagger pressure than ssj goku now between the nerfs and the buffs. Also always felt like black has better neutral than ssj

Pretty much just a toy for me since the bands I play in are basically for drumming/percussion. One of these days I will brave into playing guitar or singing or something lol

I have a fretless bass guitar that has a good range for thumpy lows (my preferred sound) to nice singing mids that can cover a singsong melody well.
I’ve debated getting a loop pedal to build a bassline and get some fretless melodic playing on top, but then I realize I can just record it on my laptop and do the same thing. I am pretty much just a solo bedroom player though. I’d definitely have one if I was in a band.
