Seems news stations are getting ramped this story. So far its just the pictures, and this girls account. Apparently a black lady was in a car accident, called for the cops, and somehow the cop ends up pointing his gun at the two women, while still sitting on his bike. For what reason, i dont know. Lots of news stations in her feed it seems.

Call the police for getting in a car accident, and have a gun pulled on you, but be on the beach and white with a semi automatic on your left shoulder, your hand on your pistol, and you appear to be calmly trying to diffuse the situation, rather than go out guns blazing. There are actually two cops in this picture if you look closely, and hes just standing their like a fat fuck all calm. Whatever, lemme stop before someone accuses me of racism, and im somehow making these people have these blatant racial biases. lol

Part of the problem is that white police have had 60 + years of viewing blacks as enemies ever since before the civil rights. It’s inherent in their training.
This problem isn’t going away until the old guard that hold power in police stations dies and is replaced. And that’s still going to take a few more decades becuase this generation is tainted already.
It’s so damn sad it’s almost funny. I’ve never been in trouble with the police before, so I’ve never experienced any obvious or apparent racism to speak of. That being said, I’ve always been aware there were corrupt/racist cops out in the world due to word-of-mouth and occasional news reports on the matter. But with Michael Brown and Eric Garner jumpstarting the public’s focus on the matter (including smartphones and social media being standard), we continue to witness more events on the matter and it just continues to open my eyes on how bad it is.
It’s a shame so many lives have to be lost and/or ruined to bring attention to this, but hopefully through the pain our country can grow from this time of unresting tragedy, and future generations never know what it is like to face discrimination from law enforcement (the same people who are supposed to protect and serve them).
