I’ve been playing Ammy for a while now, and was curious on what you guys think of my team and what the best order is.
Currently, it’s Zero (fireball)/Spencer (angled wire)/Ammy (cold star).

That … sounds like the best order actually. You also have the right assist configurations given the order you’re using. Ammy on point with Zero-α in second is also good, but in that case you’d want a different anchor than Spencer. Spencer likes powered-up Hadangeki a lot, and his THC with Ammy is disgusting. Seems like a pretty solid team overall.
If you’re playing those characters, then that’s the best order. Neither of those assists allow for an oppressive Zero but he can make do with Cold Star and Angled Wire for resets. IIRC, Zero doesn’t use a ground bounce or a wall bounce in his combos so you can do a DHC follow-up with Spencer if you aren’t doing the LL for some reason.
Ok so I have a question guys. For ammy w/ dorm dark hole assist. What combo can you do while in disk and sword mode to get optimal damage after the jiump light.
I’m trying to find a combo but most i can do w/o bar is like around 250K or so. My other assist is iron man beam.
Also don’t know if anyone knows this but this was in vanilla marvel also. I just remembered and started doing some experimenting but if your midscreen and you have ammy 2nd on your team w/ your point character if you TAC down to ammy and if you immediately do a TAC down w/ ammy coming in the explosion will wff and your 3rd character won’t come in. This will cause a really long ground bounce/ hard knockdown state which you could do even more combos w/ ammy or tag in your point or 3rd character and launch them again for another combo tag in another character and super them or otg them or tag in your point character and tac again etc… Pretty neat stuff I’ve been able to come up w/ for tagging back in zero and ammy after. This also works w/ side exchange after the first down exchange from the point character
This sounds amazing for my Frank West team! I’ll have to test it later.
Don’t rely on TACs for leveling Frank up when using Ammy. She has a ton of a guaranteed level 4 (sometimes even level 5!) setups for only 2 meters.
There’s a bunch of videos showing in that post
Yeah, I already use those, but it’s always good to have options when I have no meter to level him up with.
Yeah just posting some stuff. It’s pretty neat stuff especially if your opponent doesn’t look for tac’s or if you could get them in. It also works w/ the side exchange like I mentioned which is pretty cool.
I’ve been able to come up w/ some pretty interesting stuff like tag in zero and taunt and cancel the taunt into a team super for the kill since I still have time to otg w/ zero’s super lol.
Of course since I play phoenix on my team this would only work if I already have the lead or 5bars already.
Here you go

I have dropped Spencer in favor of a different character for Zero/Ammy/xxx. The only characters I won’t play are Dante, Vergil, Spencer, and Doom. Any ideas for a good third character?
That’s awkward since the only character I would put behind Ammy is Dante. She loves Jam Session/Weasel Shot just slightly more than Dante loves Cold Star (he absolutely loves THC XF mixups though).
Skrull’s Tenderizer assist could be used as a ghetto Jam Session for Zero since it hits on the way in if they aren’t blocking. It does nothing for Ammy though. Ammy loves Drones and she can get some serious damage off of Plasma Storm DHC. Sentinel/Ammy is very good at sniping assists because HSF doesn’t depend on Sentinel being on screen. Of course, you have the issue of Sentinel anchor but he’s easier to make XF comebacks with than Ammy and kills much faster.
Drones is your best bet IMO. Frank West is cool too. Both of them have pretty good setups to get him to 4/5 but you already have a FW team I see.
I’ll probably try both and see which one works better. I imagine you’re right though, Whackbot would do pretty well on the team.
@Yaz: can you tell me how Ammy benefits from Weasel Shot? My secondary team that I’m practicing atm is Ammy(B)/Dante(A)/Felicia(A) but I’m not sure if Jam Session is the best choice. I DO have an Ammy combo using Jam Session and Rolling Slide, but that’s pretty much it. Oh and Ammy can confirm from a Jam Session if she’s in reflector too.
Point Ammy with an assist(s) is primarily played as rushdown. Weasel Shot gives you a while to hit-confirm and he jumps back while using it so he requires less effort to protect. It helps her get in if she’s out and allows you to do some instant overheads as well, which is something that is rarely seen because lets face it, point Ammy players are few and far between.
If I was playing Ammy/Dante though, I’d prefer Jam Session on the occasional chance you’ll be switching characters so you aren’t left with two lockdown assists. Jam Session gives you air control as well and helps combat Hidden Missiles. It’s player preference really. It also depends on who’s the third character on that team.
Ammy needs the air-control more than the ground control, although ground control is pretty good for her too.
…
Are you implying that Jam Session isn’t a lockdown assist lol?
Well Weasel Shot and Cold Star function almost similarly yeah; I think you just worded that sentence wrong lol
I am implying that Cold Star/Jam Session performs way more functions than Cold Star/Weasel Shot. For one, Jam Session can be a lockdown assist but it’s mainly used to control air movement and for incoming mixups.
So Liberation is cool.
Liberation would be the best assist in the game if you could call it more than once. For now, it’s just a combo-video assist.
1D2C meteors would do wonders for Ammy’s rushdown now that I think about it. I guess the only way to keep it balanced was to give it one usage.
