Awesome Game. Finished it late last night. Took me 12 hours on Titan mode. Everything about this game is great. I had a few disappointments, but that did not spoil the game for me at all. Only major disappointment was that it had to end. Taking a few days off from video games before I go back and play it on Chaos mode.
i suck at this game Im not even sure which way to roll when poseiodon’s claw takes a stab. never the less I managed to live and brutally murder poseidon… I was amazed that they chose that Point of view during poseidon’s last moments.

I picked up GOW3 yesterday and beat it late last night. The game is truly the definition of EPIC. The only thing I heard that after you beat the game there is no New Game+ which kinda sucks. I would also recommend checking out the “making of” video after you finish the game. It gives you a good idea of how the studio handled GOW3 and all the work that went into it.
BTW a good tip for people having trouble. Learn to roll and parry by the time you get to the end of the game.
Started the game on Hard, about 4 hours in and just gone done with Hades. The game is incredible, probably has the best graphics out right now on consoles. Anyone who plays this on Normal and below is a pussy.

My brother is playing the game on normal and I am doing it on Hard. It makes no damn sense how simple the game is on the lower setting. Enemies practically explode on contact, and the larger bosses take and dish out a lot less damage.
I rented it, I’ll wait till after it’s complete to determine if I want to buy it or not.
Man, as soon as I got the parry/ counter, I exploit the hell out of that (Thanks Bayonetta). The combat grab is great for large enemies. Good Example:
The minotaurs in Hade’s World, do the combat grab close to a wall, they will wall bounce up, and then you can eternally juggle them.
Certain mechanics need polish (double jumping is my biggest issue right now, as it’s my #1 killer). I still however enjoy it.
Uh, most people learned to roll and parry in GoW1 and GoW2…:lol:

How can you not parry in GOW3? Shit is CAKE. I love those Gauntlets. Beast doesn’t even begin to describe them.

The fight vs Herc was epic. Overpowering him and then slamming him into spikes, ripping off his armor and then stomping his face? Kratos… just when I thought he couldn’t be anymore brutal. Not only does he overpower Hercules, he beats his face in so damn nasty there is no face left.

In the sex mini game Kratos is so beast in bed that the two chicks watching get so horny they start fucking each other. How many men can say they made something like that happen?
This game is really really really good. Until the last boss fight which is the STUPIDEST boss fight ever.
I’ll fight you for 8 miuntes while you block every shot even after parries, then when I finally make some progress you do some cheap shot that Touch of Deaths me, making me start over.
Parrying the SAME MOVE FOR 8 MINUTES IS NOT FUN LAST BOSS DESIGNER!!!

Cestus fully upgraded is godlike, just like the Barbarian Hammer in GoW2. Two Triangle triangle combos damn near kill everything.

Shit. I gotta beat the first 2 games… then pick this one up after a price. I would have bought it, but the concensus is that it’s short.
And yes 8 hours is short to me, if you look in my sig at what I’m playing currently.
If i could only turn the camera angle, i wouldnt blindly fall and die so much.
I died like 3 or 4 time right after i got the bow and i had to jump back across the to the mini bridge. Its a simple jump but kratos likes to fall into the pits.
Yea, sideways bridges are hard for me too :(.
Luckily there are only a couple of em in the game. The camera overall is really good though.

Nice attempt at firing shots just to see if people will bite, but you’re gonna need to try a bit harder than that.
The game was developed by Sony’s Santa Monica Studio so the chances of it going to the Xbox 360 are 0.00%.
I only like this game because Kratos reminds me of Steve Wilkos, just not as badass.
