The Gifted (X-Men TV series) official thread

The roster of Xmens is kinda w/e to me besides Polaris.

Spoiler free Pilot Review from IGN

Premiere wasn’t too bad.

So the main cast is basically the xmen’s b/c-team

Polaris, Warparth, Sunspot, and Blink.

xforce/generation x?

I think it’s John Proudstar aka Thunderbird (Warpath’s older brother who died on an early mission with the 1970s Xmen)

Yo pilot wasn’t bad at all. Btw the sister is hot man. Yep she’s 18 and yep I’m a creepy old man. But I’ll feel better when Million backs me… I think.

The show is actually better than Inhumans, and has a lot of potential. I’m also glad to see cougar Amy Acker and Elena Satine on screen again. Elena Satine is so gorgeous it looks unnatural.

The show is definitely starting strong. It’s refreshing to see parents not disown their kids for being mutants.

I’m seeing a lot people connect this show with Logan. It does seem like this show would fit right in with the bad future of DoFP.

How is this show not popping here? These four episodes so far have been great. Each episode manages to pack so much in and keep things going at a decent clip. Like how Polaris and Reed prison arc only lasting four episodes is nice. Now we can see her let loose with her powers. Did Thunderbird leave Pulse behind? I would think he’ll want to bring him back and undo his brainwashing.

I agree with you about the quality.
I have watched the first 3 episodes on demand. (I usually catch up on shows on weekends)

My fav characters so far are Polaris and Thunderbird.

I guess the main reason people arent talking about it is because of its newbie status compared to the DC CW and disdain for anything Fox related.

I like how they’re setting up the TK angsty teen to go full Tetsuo for later seasons as it seems like he’s hanging on by a thread; I can definitely see him either joining a “Brotherhood of Mutants” like faction or starting his own Mutant Antifa group next season. If any of his family dies or gets put out of commission all hell will break loose.

Hmm. It seems actual Fenris will make an appearance in episode 8.
Perhaps the reference to an attack in Rio was really Andrea/Andreas?

I thought the kids were reimagined versions of the 616 sblings, but perhaps not…

I doubt the show will be able to use their dad since the MCU used him. They might have to make up a character to be papa Von Strucker.

I wonder how this show is doing rating wise

I’m glad the show is doing good then. And I always liked Stephen Moyer

Hey something X-men related and Fox produced that isn’t a steaming pile of shit…

Maybe TV is the way to go for Fox.

this week’s episode was a little slow.
The Wes kid storyline felt resolved too easily.
I

so this show worth watching?
