Welp, fuck that shit.
I ain’t watchin’ that crap, and I suggest you all do the same.
FUCK SINGER.
I’m willing to give the X-Men show a chance because Matt Nix is the showrunner. I’m a fan of Burn Notice and I’m curious to see what he can do with the X-Men.
ill give legion a chance cause…the title is the title and isnt deceptive it says legion and its about legion
that other show aint even xmen
its about the hellfire club which only possible relation would be cause emma is a x men
though it takes place in the 1960s so that point is moot
man…
The Hellfire Club show was scrapped a long time ago.
hope singer gays up the xmen some more. hooray for black leather!
Actress Jamie Chung has joined the cast of FOX's upcoming X-Men series as the teleporting mutant Blink! She joins Blair Redford in the upcoming series.
Jamie Chung to join "X-men " Tv series as Blink
True Blood star Stephen Moyer was just cast as the lead in the upcoming Fox X-Men series alongside Jamie Chung, who will play the mutant Blink.
The project from writer Matt Nix (Burn Notice) and director Bryan Singer (X-Men: Apocalypse) is as yet untitled. Moyer will reportedly play Reed, “an ambitious attorney trying to balance the demands of his job at the DA’s office with his responsibilities to his family.” Also cast in the show so far are Jamie Chung (Big Hero 6, Gotham) who plays the mutant Blink and Blair Redford (The Day the Earth Stood Still).
Fox's X-MEN show is beefing up, apparently.
Three more actors cast in "X-men " TV show pilot as Polaris and two original characters.
Acker will reportedly play Kate Stewart, the mother to children who are discovered to be mutants. Acker’s Stewart is said to be seperated from her husband Reed (played by Stephen Moyer), but “when her family situation takes a dark turn, she finds that she’s stronger than she thinks.”
Acker is best known for her role in Angel, but has also played in several comic book adaptations including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Human Target.
**Emma Dumont will reportedly play Lorna Dane (a.k.a. Polaris). “A strong-willed, brave and loyal mutant who has the ability to manipulate magnetism.”
In comic books, Polaris is the daughter of Magneto - who in X-Men movies (which are said to be in continuity with this show) is played by Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender.**
Percy Hynes White is said to be playing Andy, " a sensitive kid and bit of a loner who keeps to himself to avoid the turmoil he faces at school and at home.
Acker was Coulson’s Cellist in the MCU. Making the jump to FOX?
Legion is an amazing trip
Between Deadpool, Logan, and Legion the mutants are suddenly back on top
There was an article on Vanity Fair with producer Lauren Shuler -donner about the X-film and TV landscape.
some excerpts…
(Take with grain of salt also.)
“We cannot, once again, explore the Erik/Charles dynamic,” Shuler Donner said in a late-February conversation with Vanity Fair, about the intense frenemyship between Magneto and Professor X that has driven the bulk of the franchise over the past 17 years. The producer says this brave new Charles-and-Erik-less world is “both liberating and makes me nervous—it’s mostly liberating.” Charles and Erik are “always essential” to X-Men—but, she admits, “there are other stories to tell.”

There’s another X-Men series in development at Fox, one that Shuler Donner admits is a safer, more straightforward expansion of the X-Men film franchise. From Burn Notice show-runner Matt Nix and Bryan Singer, the story reportedly follows a couple on the run to hide their mutant child, and, according to Shuler Donner, will include Sentinels—the oft-used, mechanical mutant-hunting villains of the early comics, the 90s cartoon, and 2014’s Days of Future Past.
Coby Bell joins the show’s cast. Possibility as a mutant hunter. He looks to be playing a mutant hunter.

X-Men TV series casts Burn Notice star Coby Bell
After many weeks of mystery, executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner has taken to Twitter to reveal the title of FOX's upcoming X-Men TV series, Gifted.
The show is called “Gifted”.
Joseph Morgan added to cast.
One of the actors is credited as “Thunderbird”.
Polaris? Fuck i remembered they killed Havok… BS show already.
Gifted is a lame title. A white guy playing Thunderbird? Got a tub of popcorn ready.

Checked out the cast photo this morning and even the minorities (all both of them) can pass as half white - so yea.
WHY DO WE NEED THIS ? wE ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH mARVHAL SHIT AS IT IS AND EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS THE STORIES THEY ARE GOING TO TELL ANYHOW . i THOUGHT THE POINT OF COMICS WAS TO PUT OUT A NEW STORY EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS OR SO, AND NOT TO TRY TO ARBITRARILY EXTEND THE LIVES CHARACTERS THAT WE ALL KNOW CAN’T POSSIBLY BE ALL THAT INTERESTING, MUTANT OR NOT .
