Also 16 being able to throw himself an alley oop off the backboard
Haven’t started the game to try anything yet, but man a lot of these changes look nice so far. Plenty of buffs across the board.
Edit: just started messing with Krillin. BRO. M.afterimage will connect anywhere on the screen now in an air combo!! His only options to end with a.afterimage before was the ex version midscreen and the light version in the corner. Now this gives him a better meterless air combo hard knockdown that isn’t just air.H. I’m hyped. Lol
I’m really digging the changes so far. Especially for Trunks. He has all the same stuff as before except the execution is way easier. It’s almost impossible to not land command jump combos in the corner. Shining slash > dash > level 3 is super easy now as well. EX slash is scary as hell now too since it’s so fast.
Krillin does more damage and now has a meterless non-air.hp hard knockdown move with air m.afterimage.
Ex.rock now throws 2 rocks which covers a good amount of space in front of Krillin and can stop the opponent if they try to walk or dash under it. And my favorite buff for Krillin is being able to control the direction of destructo disk. It doesn’t sound like much at first, however this makes a whole lot more DHC set ups possible with Krillin.
Ssj Vegeta is almost the same except for a few things. M.dp just sucks as a combo ender now. The hard knockdown might as well not even be a hard knockdown since it’s so short now. They buffed the shit out of his ki barrage. It’s easier to catch people with it for hit confirms and it does more damage. The changes to dive kick aren’t bad to me. Just…awkward.
Trunks combo looks swaggy af, also the second vid halfway shows where each combo came from.
Man. I can’t believe that this thread is still dead even after the patch. The game overall feels more fun now. Did everyone on SRK drop this game or what? Lol.
If I’m honest, I keep up with the game and love it but I am absolute garbage at it. I can’t team manage to save my life.

I tend to come and go on the the game myself. The online is usually what drives me away since it’s overall not very good. Which sucks since the game itself is really fun.
does the old stuff at least still work? asking because of the dojo…not sure where to go with it now.

now after mid air 2H into her 214 M assist…either im on hard drugs or she now auto jumps up so its easier to combo after her 17 assist. because doing that 2H>214M in the corner and im like “oh shit 18 you still in the air, i thought you dropped already” reactions from me.
she auto jumps or something cuz she is in the air when before she just fell unless you really do a jmp manually or dash or something.
