I’m sorry but I think we need to get rid of all the different formulations for different regions and shit. fuck that pick the middle standard and use that. Also get rid of super and premium. Everything can run off regular (if you want to admit it or not). that will help some.
However unless there is a riot and people burning down Big-oil’s buildings and stringing up the people responsible for this the gas prices will only go higher.
The bad part is I bought a small car (Grand Am) to avoid paying too much for gas. I remember the $15 fill up. I miss those days.
You’re lying to yourself AND wasting money. If your car is around a 2k or later, the premium only affects horsepower. If your car is earlier, you can actually hurt your engine by upping the octane rating. Premium gas is also denser and will cause more buildup in the long run if your car isn’t rated for it. In either case, putting premium in a NON-premium engine like yours does NOT improve performance.
He’s telling the truth Mycah the KA24 engine isn’t designed for premium gas. It won’t be able to burn all that gas and carbon will build up in your engine. If you were running a SR20 on the other hand premium would be required.
And to stay on subject regular at ACRO the cheapest gas is now 2.85. Wtf if gas gets up to 4-5 dollars this summer riots will happen and I’ll be putting in a transfer at work to a location more near my house.
It frustrates me that we go to war and kill all these people for their oil, and then the prices go even higher… My dad gives me money for gas, though, so I’m not hurting too bad, and when I leave for college, I’m leaving my car, so fuck you corporate America! >_>
i’m bitching cuz i don’t have the money for a new+good bicycle. otherwise i’d be doing it zhongguo ren style and biking everywhere i need to go. but i’ll probably just get a crappy one from my cousin this weekend which should last me until i save up enough.
anyway just wondering about all of your conservation skills (if you’re trying to conserve gas that is, which you should be)…so far i’ve used up a quarter of a tank after 151.1 miles. car is 2000 camry gallery edition, v6, so i’m on pretty good pace so far methinks.
$2.79 here in denver, but im not complaining too much. i put about $20 worth of gas into my honda but thank god it gets 40mpg since my motor is an economy VTEC engine. for you guys that drive SUV, trucks, jeep, vans and sports car, time to get a new ride.
Seriously, what would be a good and SAFE bike? - I know if I get a bike I’m getting a little bitch bike as close to 500cc’s as I can get, I want a Sports Bike (aka Crotch Rocket) so what a nice CHEAP (I don’t give a fuck how old it is) bike to look for?
