Gas is $3.59 for 87 in CA.

I am so lucky to live in the heart of seattle where school, work, and anything worth going to is all within a 5 mile radius. Traffic and gas prices nowadays can only lead to madness.
I’ve heard about the $4 summer as well - not looking forward to it.
Guess I gotta do more carpooling
What the HELL do you drive??? :wtf:
Anyway, it’s getting close to the three dollar mark here. I think I’m going to start taking the bus to work and take my bike with me.
Fuck Hollywood…well, at least the Mobil outside my apartment has premium at $3.65.
This is what I get for driving a 1989 Mercedes Benz. Fuck.
Regular is $1.12/L here (Canada). It’s about $35 to fill up my shitty Accord. Half a tank only lasts me a week or so. Gonna start riding the bus more.
$1.12L = $4.24/G
That’s Canadian currency, so equivalent to American, it’s $3.85 :looney:
I drive a 94 accord with a h22 engine swap. I get like 15 gallons of gas.
So 15 x $3.55 = $53.25
For whatever reason I have to gas up like every 275-290 miles.
When I still had the regular f22 engine I’d get like near 400 miles a tank.
Hey you know I have an Accord (90), and I thought they were good on gas, but this thing is sucking me dry :looney:
2.89 regular here at penn state.
Yo man, this is ridiculous. Somebody has to do something. We’re gonna have 4 bucks a gallon, AGAIN, and the president and all these other mother fuckers sit back and don’t do shit.
I’m not one for conspiracy theories and all that shit, but I truly feel that after Katrina Big Oil companies wanted to see if the American public would pay 4 bucks for a gallon of gasoline. And guess what? We did. We paid for it, some people bitched, but they just cut back on everything else and didn’t do shit to cut back on their gasoline usage.
What’s worse is that big oil the reported record setting profits for not one, but TWO quarters. Highest profites ever amongst the masses paying close to 4 dollars a gallon. And people got mildly upset. I remember one day Thongboy and I were on Alphaism radio talking about this shit and how completely docile and apathetic our country and it’s people are. Part of it is who we put in office and Bush has been a horrible, horrible mistake.
I was watching Bill Maher the other night and there was this asshat on the show talking about how a rising tide lifts all boats and Bill and one of his guests were fucking outraged. They went on a tirade about Bush and how we’re so deep in debt yet he’s giving tax cuts to the rich, gasoline is 3 bucks a gallon, our immigration laws are horrible, the environment is fucked up, but Haliburton is doing alright.
Man, there are honestly not a lot of things that get me heated but this shit, the economic turmoil that our country is in astounds me. We have a drunk chimp behind the wheel of our country.
Fuck.
3.36 in Oklahoma, this is just Bush paying back all his supporters that financed both of his election runs.
I heard that the price of gas has been very low for a long time considering inflation. Is that even true?
CNN had a similar picture up that had regular’s price as “Arm” plus as “leg” and premium as “First born”.
Well, in a report I read today, we officially surpassed the highest price on record when adjusted for inflation. The comparison was the highest gas prices during the Iran/Iraq war.
i paid 3.39 a gallon this saturday. 40 dollars to fill up with a quarter tank left when i put gas in. Only reason I filled up because I was going out of town. I dont even fill up anymore. When I move to Dallas im using Dart. I would have never considered mass transit until now.
Yeah, I think we’ve all heard peak oil. That wikipedia entry is interesting because of the stuff at the bottom of the link. Specifically this part
That was the part that stuck out to me, anyway.
Where’s Doctor Emmet Brown when you need him?
Any road vehicle that gets 20 miles or less per gallon should be banned from production.
At least, that’s what I believe…
