The Garou Lounge: Sakura Defends Arcades from Bottom Barrel Netcodes

Your game knowledge and spacing are very good. It means that your Mika is very “real”. It lets you get into her bullshit reliably, as you aren’t just flailing like most Mika’s.

Mika is also a character that sometime just get play 1P mode, which can be nice to have in your back pocket.

Damn I just finished Jojo part 1. I was NOT ready.

For Laura? I remember the last time I saw Bea on stream she had a hell of a time against it. Might as well be Ultra Instinct if your reads are up.

I guess it’s nice against projectiles?

Here’s a bit showing some vt2 stuff. The second half is vt1 be careful as some of it doesn’t work anymore this season.

Friends were searching their names on Urban Dictionary for fun to see what crazy stuff they’d find. Decided to give it a shot once I got home

I instantly regret everything

Don’t spoil it I just started watching because I saw some of y’all talking about it. I’m on like episode 8 or 9. The show is wild af lol.

Kind of seems like Laura vt2 is extremely matchup dependent. I don’t know the startup on the move, but it’s obviously another “gotcha bitch” kind of move, at least to me.and everyone else I’ve talked to about these type of v-triggers/skills.

I won’t I’m just saying. I fuck with this show heavy

My favorite thing is the random English words with a “U” sound on the end.

Going by what I saw from memes and pictures or seeing the game here and there. I’ll say so far it has NOT been what I was expecting, but in a good way. It moves fast af too, they’ll introduce a new character. Sike we killed him off lol.

My girl watched a couple with me and tripped out over there being a character named reo Speedwagon :joy:

It definitely is and it just straight up doesn’t work for some projectiles or multi hitting moves, I won’t say impossible but requires weird timing sometimes. If you use it correctly though it can be good just doesn’t seem worth dropping vt1.

Really don’t know about that one. I feel like I’m flailing around all the time with her 'cause I don’t know her spacing well at all, plus how slow her walkspeed is.

@Yiceman2K this one shows the basics of using it if you’re interested. The first one was more vt cancel mix-ups for it.

Cool, I’ll check it out when I get home, thanks. I’m not sure I’ll get too deep into practicing VT tech just yet, but it might be a more simple alternative to use until I feel like I have the basic fundamentals of the character down.

I told you. That ending was what hooked me on the series.

You can’t really just say “Oh, like they’d kill that character.” Nah fam, protag dies, anyone is game.

It’s because of how the Japanese alphabet works.

Most hiragana are actual syllables, so Speedowagon actually has to have the “do” sound because they don’t have just “d”.

Iirc, the only single consonant they have is N.

Come to think of it, vt2 seems kind of counter-intuitive to Laura’s whole archetype. Thanks Crapcom.

It doesn’t feel like that to me.

But it’s possible I’m a bad judge. I have lots of trouble with spacing in general in the game due to a lack of practice on my part and the general sloppy-ness of the hitboxes (I am constantly surprised at thing wiffing).

@Flack0 is better at that then me. He may be a better judge.

Well now we have some ideas on why you like the DONK.

But hey, you’ve been “Will” for the longest time so this is cool:

But yeah, they don’t know anything about this here:

IS IT A SIGN?!?!?!?

It’s funny you say that 'cause the characters you use aren’t too bad in that regard
