What it truly needs frame advantage on block from least distance released and / or less recovery.

Tried Juri again and couldn’t stand how stubby everything was

Her buttons are ok as well as the kit, it just does not lead to much damage or oki.

Laura was my season 1 main, and after spending all weekend getting stomped with Lucia I dusted her off just to see how it felt. My first game was vs an Online-Ass Bison. I lost 2-1, which means that Laura carried me, because I have literally never beaten a Bison online. The fact that I even came close to winning told me I should play her a bit more, and I won my next 5 matches, beating an Online-Ass Ken and an Online-Ass Vega.

So yeah, anybody know what the up-to-date meaty setups for Laura are, cause I might keep running with this while it works.

Could do, but justifying the need to store her moves is an option as well.As it it now, they are too weak for them to require a store, except maybe her light fuhajin.

Guess we gotta wait for SF 6 and her redesign there. I would assume it’s going to be more similar to her SF 4 version.

Main thing is lp bolt be longer is a automatic meaty after command grab.Gotta do a slight delay or it’ll whiff.

Yeah I was struggling with that a bit, so I was hoping there was a new airtight setup to meaty after a command throw. Oh well, I guess I’ll just work at it. Still 50 times more oki than Lucia gets. I think I got most of my wins just from popping people with meaties off of the medium bolt charge knock downs, since they can’t backroll.

Yeah just grind it a little in training mode, you’ll have it in no time. Yeah I love getting those mp bolt meaties, I’m hoping Laura doesn’t spoil me with all the meaties and Oki.

For sure, I’ll keep working at it. Thanks for the tips. Do you think there’s any merit to VT2? I know VT1 is preferred, but it’s pretty daunting in the options it presents and how to practice it.

I’ll be honest I haven’t put any time into vt2, I’ve asked around and looked. And I haven’t really seen it used that much outside of flashy combo clips. There’s definitely some cool shit you can do with it but vt1 is still the go to for almost everybody.

Edit my bad you said vt2 I thought vs2. Yeah vs2 can definitely be used but it’s not that great of a Dodge move. People can bait it and blow you up. And you have to be wary of certain moves and projectiles. I picked it on accident and had a cool ass comeback against a Karin who wouldn’t stop hitting buttons. There’s more reasons why it’s not great but I won’t bore you I’ll post a video rocwell did on cool shit for it tho.
