925 is definitely excessive
If I had to guess I’d say Capcom played it extra safe with the character because of the move stealing. His damage with Tandem Install can get pretty nutty but that’s the only outrageous thing the character can do it seems.

His practical damage is actually pretty average.
Jeah I was thinking the same. It reminds me when Sakura came out in s3 at the time I really felt Capcom was scared she was going to end up as the best versions of Akuma and Cammy, so they gimped all her tools and she just ended up in the trash can the whole season.
I just thought Cammy and Karin needed a new person to invite to the tea parties they have a 9:25am each morning.

Hide that from any remaining Nash players. Damn he got bopped hard by Seth. 
I think the best part of Seth is using the VT1 followup to Hecatoncheires and then he shouts “DOWNLOADED!”

That’s my point though the character is balanced around getting install so they made everything else average. It’s why he feels lacking.
That Seth install combo vid is why he is so mediocre without it.
Me and Ve actually did that matchup last night and I do not think it’s good for Nash lol
I am not good against Nash and I was basically half brain dead by that point but…
I agree, probably not great for Nash. I don’t think it’s abysmal though.
You might be able to run away more? Seth doesn’t do anti fireball super great. Kinda like how Ryu vs Chun is way easier than Kage vs chun even though Kage is definitely the better character.
Ah sorry fam. Well Laura’s stolen Thunderclap leaves her worse off than Nash if that makes you feel any better.
I don’t think Seth is bad for Laura. With so little health she needs one less mixup than usual to kill him and he doesn’t really shut her out in neutral.
I mean I haven’t fought her yet but on paper it doesn’t look too good for Seth.
I was just trying to make Vhozite feel better fam. G and Laura melt Seth basically in one combo.

I’ll give the cynical answer that may actually be partly true. SFV Seth has a female body, and Capcom effectively uses a lower base health for female characters than they do for male characters.
No SFV female character, regardless of style or design, has more than 1000 health. Only two managed to get 1000 health. The “base” health for a female character is either 975 (the most common value) or even 950 (as there are now almost as many female 925s as there are 975s.)

Laura has 1025 Health. Edit: I was wrong. She has 1025 Stun
Hrm, list I looked at says Laura is down to 1000.
I thought they buffed her health by 25 in CE and not her stun. It was actually the reverse. I was wrong and you were on the money.
