I really enjoy having stannis on screen, i like his character and his actor both.
Same thing with the mountain, I like his new actor more than the old one - his voice is suitably sinister and his looks are more appropriate I think.

In the books it’s clear that dany likes guys who have a lot of power and swagger, dangerous themselves and tough. like koop said, she likes dominance. and there are a few situations in the books where she lets this desire of hers fuck up her attempt at regaining the iron throne.
For dany, i feel like she deserves better than some scheming political merchant. Drogo is the only guy in the series i felt who truly had a right to be married to dany, he was a badass. she deserves another badass imo.

i saw the battle differently in my head and was sorta disappointed by how it turned out. they left out some pretty major points from the book (the chain, and guy’s nose). this entire season has been pretty disappointing so far. maybe because the second book wasn’t as good as the first or third? how many episodes left in the season? 3?
Another solid episode! I heard about the battle and I thought it’d be different too but somethings are let go because of budget and time (this episode cost 15% more than the usual iirc) but I certainly was not let down. This season started slow, but it’s been getting better ever since the start.
