Yeah… but none of that matters, once she gets reduced to krirrin tier.
looking forward to her ‘walk of shame’ lol
we’re edging into spoiler territory gents!
Yeah I gave up on this thread.
Yeah, it looks like I’m just gonna have to keep lurking on the NeoGAF thread because they spoiler everything and don’t drop hints in their posts.
Sallador is boss, and he was only in one episode so far.
I respect King Baratheon for holding out on cheating on his ailing wife for 4.3 seconds. That has to be a record in GoT.
oh and…
BLACK PEEPUL!!!
This is the official thread, right?
Like, where people can go to talk about the series?
Or is there another thread specifically for those who have read the books?
The title of the thread seems to say otherwise.
If it is just for the show, then this thread needs a new title.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who openly calls Feast garbage.
Dance was better, but still a lot of pandering, lazy drivel existed therein.
The producers said that the first season will probably be the only one that does a single book.
Looks like Game of Thrones will be here for the long haul. 12+ seasons perhaps??
yeah i realize it’s a huge pain in the ass to put spoiler tags in a post, it takes like five whole seconds and all these keystrokes…so ridiculous.
but since we aren’t going to get two GoT threads, we’ll just have to suffer. unless you guys are okay with being assholes and ruining the series for anyone who is like ‘hey, a GoT thread on SRk, i like this show. let me check it out’
Uh, title of the thread is game of thrones. So, either it is for the series or for the first book in the series since the name of the SERIES is A Song of Ice and Fire.
Someone could make a thread for season 2 and say no book spoilers in the title post, since I think the mods would be fine with that.
we barely have enough swinging dicks for this thread, no point in a second one
the original post is clearly about the show, so i figure we should just keep it relatively spoiler free
Episode 2 Stannis
Spoiler
Didn’t like the last scene of the episode because Stannis felt completely out of character. I always pictured Stannis as a very honor driven man and one who wouldn’t forsake his vows without tormenting over the idea. Then in the last scene, all Melisandre had to tell him was, “I can give you a son” and he goes at it without a second thought.
If so, I have $100 that says Martin doesn’t live to see its completion.
Any takers?

Most people know it by the first book’s name/eHBehO butchery, don’t front.
The story has fallen far, far off of being a song of Stark and Targ, anyway.
I literally think of it as the Game of Thrones, anymore, myself.
Too much medieval office politics, not enough of the alleged central theme.
Also, what Others?
Martin has gone the way of Jordan circa. books 8-10 of The Neverending Story.
Spoiler
I don’t care who Dany wants to fuck, frankly, but evidently it is worthy of at least a hundred pages. As are deus ex machina errywhere, apparently - given what Dance is. Also, shoutouts to inbred lactating tits, and the grossly morbidly obese wankers who suck them. In detail.
Not sure if you read the books, but…
Spoiler
It’s implied in the books that Stannis had sex with Melisandre. Also, sons are preferable to daughters when it comes to lines of succession. Plus, Stannis’ daughter has greyscale, which is basically a death sentence. So I can understand why TV Stannis would screw Melisandre. He has no one to succeed him, and his wife can’t give him sons, let alone living children.
yea, the show makes explicit things that were only hinted at in the books. Like last season, showing loras go down on renly when in the book we’re only given hints and innuendo from other character POV’s. Stannis and Melisandre is the same.
The interesting question imo is, does queen selyse approve? She’s the most devout follower of Mel and her red god and IIRC, she brought mel to stannis.
