How did varys telport to dorne and back to mehreen so quickly? Lol. Same with Arya from Bravos to Frey town? Wtf is going on?
Anyways as there are about 13 to 14 episodes left. Would yall prefer one long season of 14 episodes delayed with a june start say or… 2 seasons of 7 eps each?
Enough time passed between before the battle and after the battle. It’s an issue with the entire TV show. Weeks or months can go by from the last time we see a character. We see Varys in Mereen pre battle, next in Dorne later, then suddenly next PoV he’s back with the queen. We can safely assume “enough” time has passed. Similar to Little Finger’s teleport network.
He comes back just in time as the queen’s fleet sails to Westeros for glory and freedom to kill a fuck ton of Westerosies. (Why does Varys always seem to be at the center of starting a war when he claims to serve the realm?)
Same thing with Olenna. She was so mad she teleported from High Garden or wherever she was to Dorne.
I wonder how many of the noble families are going to want to fly banners for Queen Cersi when she wiped out several of the major families with her actions against the Westeros Jesuits. If I was Queen of Thorns I’d have the capital on full starvation mode just to encourage a regicide.

Especially Varys since it’s like clear there are Martell ships (the people from Dorne) in Dany’s fleet so you can make the logical jump that he rode out on one of them to tell her how things went.

Well if the Queen of Thorns knows who whacked her family, I think it’s reasonable to assume she’d be able to send ravens other well connected families about what went down. She’s literally got nothing left to lose, so Cersi unleashed her Dark Hadou.
I don’t get why Dorne even sent Martell ships to Dany in the first place. The Sand Snakes are not Martells, they avenged Oberyn’s death by murdering his brother and nephew. That house is extinct. And why is everyone there suddenly okay with a bunch of bastards taking over? Where is House Dayne and Yronwood? Dorne is a mess and should have never been written into the show after Oberyn.

The Iron throne is quite obviously between Snow and Dany. No way that bitch Cersei gonna stay alive in the battle, at best I see Jaime dying in the battle to protect her.
Btw did anyone find Tomnen’s death more satisfying than Joffreys? There was something so funny and “GOOD” about it.
I felt sorry for tommen… he was a good guy… wasnt strong enough to be the king.

The reason he whored about, in the first place is because he grew up as a person, put a ring on a finger.
And then his dad had her gang-raped in front of him, whilst telling him she was really a whore he paid to marry Tyrion, and that she was a willing participant in said cruel act, and that he was never and would never be loved by a woman, and that he must step up to the willing “whore”, and finish the “gang-bang”, except pay her in gold.
So yeah.
I think his whoring stems from somewhere other than immaturity.
That whole sad, evil act of Tywin’s is the worst thing Jaime ever did… backing his father’s lie, and thus CAUSING his little brother, who worshipped him, to believe the lie, and rape his own wife after she had already been savagely broken.
Also: Death was too good for Tywin; and far, far too quick, at that.
Loved it at the time, but looking back Tommen’s death feels like really contrived writing.
Like, because they showed that Joffrey was too cruel to last as king, they felt like they had to show Tommen was too nice to last as some sort of symbolic balance. Reality wouldn’t be that artful.
I think it might have worked better if maybe Tommen had managed to sneak out of the castle and make his way to the Sept just before the place blew up. A little less clean, and would have made Cersei look like even more of a monster.
It’s not that Dorne shouldn’t have been written into the show, it’s just that even a kid trying to write fanfiction would know they shouldn’t have been written like THAT. “Oberyn was killed by a Lannister fighter? We’ll avenge him by killing his brother and nephew! That’ll show those Lannisters and be just what Oberyn would’ve wanted!”. Who the HELL thought that shit made ANY sense?
Isn’t Ellaria or whatever his name just basically a concubine from what I understand? Even if the general population of Dorne thought Doran Martell was a shit leader for letting bygones be bygones and trying to make peace I can’t imagine that they would be cool with a concubine becoming leader. Not sure if that was in the book or not, but that didn’t make sense to me.
He killed himself because he was never gonna hit that sweet rose Margaery again. His man’s High Sparrow gone too who told the bitch she needs to stop being a prude and start putting out for the King.
