I found it a bit odd Ghost was mysteriously absent all episode
Pretty excited to see the Davos and Melisandre interaction next episode. Praise be to hungry dogs.
I agree. Ghost is a literal ghost, nowhere to be found, only appearing whenever he wants.
Was half expecting Ghost to be in the cell at the end, come in all snarling with dat “sup nigga, heard you talkin shit…” face before putting the fangs to his sorry ass, but hey, poetic irony is just as good
Episode got me too hyped, like Jon was on some Spartan 300 level of rediculous, charging in there with no shield, evading horses and just cutting down dudes all IDGAF. Only way he is getting topped if somehow Arthur Dayne got a secret kid training with Rocky up in the mountains and makes an appearance, or if Sam finally gets his shit together.
Hell yeah. No joke afterwards I had to go smoke a cigarette to calm my nerves lol
Rickon worse at sidestepping than Charlize in Prometheus
Yea as soon as I calm down I need to go critical mass on some of the bullshit but for now, am just gonna bask in the glory of the epicness I have witnessed.
Blame the dragons for taking up all dat CGI budget
Director for this episode also directed Hardhome last season. HBO needs to bring him back again for all future battles like White Walkers vs Dragons.
Man that episode was fire! (all puns intended…) gg lil nigga rickon Bitchass ramsay with the irony kill but he was a true villian to the end… he deserved to be tortured even more imho. Well since the no.1 cunt is dead who shall step up to take his place?
^^The Night King!
Yoooo, this episode brought it. What else can be said?
As for Littlefinger, he gonna try his best to get in them Sansa draws. Like someone else said, I’d be surprised if Jon even wants the throne - it’s not in his personality to want power. I could see him being the lead Knight for Sansa or something.
I started jerking off 10 secs in.
I have no regrets.
Predictable or not, I enjoyed the episode.
And I think Liam Cunningham is so criminally underrated as Davos. Dude is easily one of the best parts of the show now.
Weapon X Jon Snow
I’ll also say that the cinematography this episode was beautiful. Too often these types of battles are portrayed as being very clean and easy to navigate. But I imagine that being in the midst of all those bodies and shit happening all around you very quickly, that it’d be extremely disorienting. I think this episode captured that feeling perfectly.
You can see the exact moment Jon discovered his plot armor.
What is this thread’s stance on novel spoilers?
Godlike episode.
