All of the Stark kids are/were potential wargs though which is why they could bond with dire wolves in the first place. That’s not a spoiler, it’s 1st season stuff even if they were pretty subtle about it.
Yeah, that’s what I meant about the show doing a few things to pull into line with the books by other means.
It’s pretty interesting though the stuff they choose to introduce from the books out of order vs the stuff they choose to skip over completely.
The Coldhands thing was in Book 4 because I don’t think we got Sam POV Chapters until then. Also yeah, the Riverrun and Iron Islands Kingsmoot stuff was Book 4. Yet…when it comes to the Greyjoy stuff, they’re both ahead of the books and behind them at the same time somehow.
As for the “third thing” you mentioned, I figure it’ll still happen, just probably not with the character it did in the books.
