GoT once again showing why I never want to have kids. Bran was being the classic impulsive teenager, except unlike 15 yo Chad sneaking out to go smoke some reefer with his stoner friends, Bran’s abilities have huge consequences. I’m just glad Anne Frank didn’t get got too, she’s kinda cute and has grown on me.
The show did a good job of hinting Bran’s influence on the timeline when his father heard his voice. My worry that this means Blackraven has been possibly manipulating events in time all along; pulling and mending threads of time to serve his ends.
Sins of the Children; seeing how they created the Night King using presumably supremely powerful magic of some kind it’s now biting them in the ass. Considering how powerful they are either the Night King has increased in his magical capabilities, or the Children if Forest have been weakened. He is their creation after all, their mystical Skynet.
I wonder if there are more Children of the Forest out there? Leaf seemed to be an elder and I know their reproductive rate are extremely low hence there being such a low population.
Poor Jorah Mormont, the Khaleesi would probably be willing to pity fuck him now and he can’t even touch her. I wonder if those scales is a disease from Valyrian fire/ dragon magic? Either way, if homie Hodor didn’t bite the dust Jorah would’ve been the saddest moment this ep.

Bran isn’t really to blame on this one, the Three Eyed Raven dude clearly had the whole thing set up to play out that way. At least Hodor’s story arc had some sense of purpose in the end, which is more than most dead characters have gotten.
Summer’s death was pointless though. HBO hates dire wolves.
HBO just figured everybody would watch the show anyway and decided to cut down CGI costs by killing off Direwolfs. Now it will be only Ghost because Jon is Jon (and let’s face it, Ghost is by far the coolest wolf), and don’t expect Nymeria to ever get back.
I can imagine when bran gets better with his abilities he could probably plant a mental suggestion in a character so that they could possibly change the past…

I don’t think the Night King exists outside of linear time, but spirit walking Bran in that moment did (like he did when he yelled out to Ned at the Tower of Joy) and Bran carried the NK’s mark “back” with him when he stopped his spirit walk.
I wonder what the show writers want to do with Arya. It feels like TV Arya is even less of a good fit for the Faceless Men than book Arya is, based on how little the character actually seems to buy in to the cult shit.
I love him as a villain but hate his character as a person.
