The Game of Thrones OFFICIAL thread

Not even a paper bag can save her lol

lmfao that ending was predictable but still gross.

Seriously? Yeah they just murdered their daughter & the current king’s sister. Nah no need to take revenge…

Why do you think they killed the messenger, so their are no witness to the death of the king. They will probably blame the Lannisters too of the king’s death to get the people of Dorne to rally with them to start a war with the Lannisters.

You know I pointed out that same scenario in the exact post you quoted, right?

Either way, there are witnesses who (maybe) will switch loyalties to whomever sits on the throne. Plus, the Lannisters had already reached King’s Landing when the death of the King and the prince occurred. Again, silly plot writing.

I think in her speech she had rallied enough support for the princes death, she just didn’t want to confront any of the princes loyalist at the time. That was why the messenger was murdered. She prolly knows who are prince loyalist and would like to catch them off guard.

I think Dorne has ample reason to hate the Lannisters, besides Dorne wants to provoke the crown, they have no reason to want a fight outside of Dorne, they would give up all of their strategic advantage. They wouldn’t be drumming up any army to march.

In a way even though they are really different Book 5 already foreshadowed what Dornes play was going forward. Well that’s going to have to change since some people who are alive in the book are dead in the show/never even existed in the show but I still believe the overlying premise will be the same.

The prince died at King’s Landing you goof.

Did the prince leave with them at the end of last season? I don’t remember that.

Well, he was in his cabin making funeral stones for Myrcella when he died, so he would’ve had to have been on the boat to have known she was dead by then.

Now that scene makes sense. I thought he was doing it just for fuck’s sake.

His father sent him to King’s Landing with Jamie and Myrcella. He was going to take Oberon’s place on the small council.

So wait, now them two broads are stuck there? How the hell did they hide for so long?

One thing that bugged me is that the kid actually turned his back to the other sister. Motherfucker, you NEVER turn your back on someone who wants you dead.

Naw they never left the ship, it was already on its way back to Dorne when the deed happened.

But…they were never ON the ship when it left Dorne for King’s Landing in the first place. As in “They were ON THE DOCK watching it leave”. So they would’ve had to what, take another ship right after? Somehow take a faster land route?

I think they snuck on the ship after the fact (either boarded while it was docked in Kings landing or secretly boarded before it left Dorne). I just watched the scene again and he seems shocked to hear their voice, like they shouldn’t be there. Wouldn’t be too hard since it seemed Dorne had already fallen out of the princes favor (all the palace guards did shit for his father). I mean a smaller ship would theoretically move faster. ahh its a shitty plot hole, that really isn’t important in the long run of things.

Its probably been a few days has passed since Jamie arrived back to King’s Landing. Plenty of time for the two sand snake chicks to catchup & board the ship kill the prince.

Didn’t look like a couple of days since no other scene in the entire show spanned more than just a couple of hours at most. It would be odd to then stick one scene in there where the future has already happened and every other scene is stuck way back when.

The first scene with Cersei I thought who is that ugly man?

Kinda meh episode except for the ending, wtf was that all about? Man broken dreams broken penis.

Can’t see Dorne surviving or thriving under the current leadership. They are still butthurt over Oberyns death, even though it was his own fault that his skull got turned into mashed potatoes, and they keep acting as if the Lannisters were responsible for that, even though he volunteered to fight the Mountain…

Dorne has hated the crown ever since the mad king died. Their hate for the Lannisters and the mountain runs deep. Killing the mountain was the goal they believed they achieved.

Dorne geographically has probably the second best natural defense outside of the Eyrie, the Targaryans even really couldn’t conquer dorne, they had them bend the knee through attrition.

There is no way this shit show in kings landing has a shot at conquering Dorne. Or if they do it will be a shit plot twist that would make zero sense with the cannon of the series. Unless those bitches in charge do something really stupid.

Of course Dornes plan to put Danarys on the throne died last episode. Those chicks give a fuck about Targaryan blood.
