No; im not reallymad, im more dissapointed. I was expecting G1 to have more mature playes who understand the gane better and reaise they have much to learn, just like I do. In fact, I find more players in G1 talk trash than those in lower grades. I really just hink its pathetic. Dont get me wrong, I love SF4, and I’m very serious about it, but I dont think there needs to be such a high level ofshit talking. Persnally, if I beat someone, I’m polite. I even try and help players who ask for advice. I would be much happier if those in G1 adopted this sort of mentality, that’s all.

Im getting to the point where my skills need to be sharpened and everything counts in a match. So when I fight someone and there’s lag I turn into a sore loser. Besides that I reply GG’s or send GG’s to anyone, win or lose.
Have to agree with you mate. You certainly are one of the players that I have had good experiences with. You always give GGs… shame more people dont.

You don’t need to play non-stop to be in G1.
There are some people in there who are total scrubs, which just spent theyr whole weeks doing nothing but eat, play and sleep a couple hours (WoW style 4TW).
Most people got there fast just because the competition in G2 was not that great. I won 9/10 G2 tournaments, and I’ve been playing for around 350 hours (that’s counting training mode, versus, ranked and player matches and the characters/colours/taunts bullshit).
G1’s a diferent story tough. You have to give your best every single round, or you’re probably gonna get crushed. I haven’t play much, just because there are not many people to play with, CoD4 is too fucking good, and university stuff.
But overall G1 has been great for me so far. Sometimes I lose for using anti-scrub tactics that don’t fly anymore, but it’s gonna help me tightening up my game.
Oh, and what’s up with people inviting with 0-2 bars connexion? Get out of here, I wanna play a decent game, not use shitty lag shenanigans to get those stupid points.

You prolly don’t know me, but I remember you clearly (especially with that Japanese nick)… you utterly devastated my Sakura with your Sagat 1-2 weeks ago in G2. I swear, I never felt so powerless against a Sagat before… scratch that, against ANY opponent I faced before. Grats on G1, but I’d love to play you again; I’ll add you first thing tomorrow if you don’t mind.
some people are pretty damn hard to beat and some are just scrubs. I don’t shit talk or anything like that. I play and if I get my ass handed to me then so be it.
What pissed me off is that damn gay strategies people play with. Man so many damn Ryus and Kens and Sagats, and Blankas. So damn lame to play them that I sometimes don’t even try anymore. Take the fireballs away from them and they got no game I swear. It’s like a whole match up of fireballs coming at me and i can’t seem to jump in. If they play that way, then I only see that they are weak and no where close to being pros. How they get so many GPs??? Don’t deserve it I think. For those who played really well and didn’t spam on fireballs and such . . Kudos for ya’ll. GGs I think.
You’re the one that’s taking it too seriously. I rarely take the time to press the PS button and GG my opponent. No disrespect if I don’t do it, especially when I’m in CE mode.
Just because they’re at G1 doesnt’ make anyone better, it could be a combination of how much you play. Even if you’re in the top 3 you get points.

Perhaps I am taking it too seriously. Its a comon fault of mine. It’s just in my character to expect good sportsmanship, where the sad reailty is that many players are simply immature. It isnt that comments offend me ( Ive talked BS myself at times, but not so vulgarly), but some of the messages would be completely innapropriate for younger gamers, and I find that irreprehensible. Maybe I shgould just stop looking at my damn messages!lol

Yeah, I’m not one of those people who will write a message with vulgarities. When it happens to me is when I beat them with El Fuerte or Seth. I get the most vulgar and hateful messages. =[

I totally agree with what people are saying about G1…I feel like I have to be at the top of my game every round to move up…fun times…this is how it should be though!

I was in G1 for a bit and played 1 or 2 matches, and the PSN glitched me and knocked me back into G2. It’s the same thing except in G2 you wait for less matches.
You still got scrubs mashing their L1 trigger to back flip with Vega in G1 lewlpewl.

Ive never had those GP loss glitches. I always make sure my shit saves when Im done. I dont know if that would work though. (Doubt it does)

I’ve played VoFam once before when he was still G2. I rocked him. Got a perfect on him with Rose. He was a dp spammer when I played him.
