Use the openDNS thing, it worked for me and I haven’t had an issue with the bug since I did it.

Getting through G3 and G2 aren’t exactly hard…You can get around 150 per championship won (Depending on who you beat.) So just win…uh…100 matches without losing. (…i think my longest streak to date was 36, so clearly i’m talking out of my ass)
I should get to G1 within the next week (and a half! since I’m moving on the 29th and won’t have much time in the next week) though, since I, like Darkness was dealing with the bug until two days ago.
What’s annoying is that because of the bug, my CP is fucked up, I’m G2-D with as much as people on my friends list who are in G1…viva DNS failures!

I guess you didnt have the same problem ive been having, ShinUakuma204. I keep losing points for no reason. Half the time I turn the PS3 on to see points having vanished, and yesterday, with 1/2 of my G2 tourny’s, when I win the final match, it exits by saying ‘did not conclude properly, need to start again.’ Getting sick of it. G2 has SOME good players, but they are few and far between. I BADLY need to get to G1, but my sodding points get robbed all the time. Why does this happen and is there anything I can do about it?
I’m trying to get to G1 by Thursday (im down on 10500 gp after having a week off of online play and with my points robbed… SIGH)
fosho…im fighting hard to stay top 10 (you can’t farm in g1 that’s for sure)…the compeption is rough…most of the time ill get knocked out in 3rd round or semi’s…i’ve only won half a dozen finals…but last night i made it to #1 CP…

I cant say im enjoying g1. Its really hard to find matches and sometimes you have to settle for laggy matches and regret it for the whole of the horrible fight.
i know it bugs some people that you sometimes fight the same people in different rounds of championship mode. but its really satisfying whooping someone’s as in like Semi’s after they beat you in 1st or 2nd. it’s like “thanks for holding my CP biatch”
I have been in G1 for 2 days and it’s not great at all.
The majority of the players i faced aren’t gdlk and i can’t get a match more than 2 bars.
p.s hanjoon81 has got to be the absolute worst player in the creation of this game and he’s in g1 (lagtactics)

yea. almost everyone i fight have a good connections. i encountered a couple where the spped is crazy fast. theres a user by the name os infamous (has numbers on the end) that uses Abel and his connection is comparable to offline play.

I’m in the South East… I got a real good connection but i take it most G1 are overseas or west coast.
LOL i remember hyper20 and kodakpic from regular rank matches, they kept on resetting their bp upon losing, played them both like quite a few times as well, some matches were in a row, they came back with the same amount of bp lolo.

yea some of these g1ers are actually blacklisted. some are legit in ce and some just rgrind all day. kodakpic is literally garbage imo. Vofam is decent but he was blacklisted in ranked for dc’ing and changing the round time to 30 seconds at the last minute.

So I FINALLY made it to G1 after having SOOOOOOO much Gp lost by the glitch.
Gotta say, there’s some elitist bullshit going on there. Beat one guy and said ‘GG’ to him, he said ‘Dont say GG to me after the bullshit you just pulled.’ Only thing I did was to put space between his Ryu and mine as he seemed to like fighting real-close. Dunno what’s wrong with that strategy… Seriously, I expected more.
Standard of play is definately quite a lot higher than G2, but there are still some shit players. I think I myself am kinda shit right now, cause I picked up some bad habbits beating thw hell out of G2 noob en-route to G1.
All in all, I reckon G1 will push my game quite a bit (well, it will make me iron out mistakes). Still, SOOOOO much ego. Hopefully most G1 players realise that theyre nothing special and dont get their heads stuck in their asses. Will have to wait and see.

I was wrong… what the hell iswith the lag? The amount of games I lose because of lag is unreal. In G1 I would expect people to care enough to buy good internet connections… but then, considering that youre probably fat losers with no lives, you probably can’t afford them, either that or the cables wont fit in your trailers.
End of the day; PLAY THE GAME… ENJOY IT, BUT REALISE THERE’S MORE TO LFE AND STOP ACTING LIKE COCKLESS FAGS
