So, I’m trying to rewatch this with the commentary, but I don’t know if they cover this, or if it was in the movie and I missed it:

Where did the bender tattoo originally come from? I know they transferred it from dead lars/fry, but where did that come from?[/details]
I think…

The tattoo itself comes from its own existence in the past, as Fry essentially gave it to himself via a time loop (much like how he is his own grandfather). So the future really can’t be changed at all in this series, and it was just fated to exist.
how many movies have they planned? or was this just it?
There will be 4. (Bender’s Big Score ? The Beast with a Billion Backs ? Bender’s Game ? Into the Wild Green Yonder)
3 more direct-to-DVD movies, which will be divided each in 4 episodes to form a new season of 16 episodes.
SERIOUSLY!? That’s great, I watched this movie yesterday and it was histerical.
"Stole the kernel’s secret recipe:
*CHICKEN
*GREASE
*SALT"
I couldn’t stop laughing I’ll definitely get the other 3, when are they coming out?
“Are we even allowed in the forbidden zone?”
“It’s just a name, like the death zone or the zone of no return…ALL zones have names like that in the Galaxy of Horror.”
Hopefully they’ll explain the tattoo in one of the new episodes.
:wonder:

You mean the tattoo of Bender on Fry’s tuchis or the Thug Life tattoo on The Professors’ back? I’m pretty sure that the Bender tattoo was explained in the movie. :xeye: Wasn’t it… dood?
Yeah, I thought Nibler told us why

Movie was AWESOME. The funniest part for me was when Al Gore said “Damn! I could have used that $100 to buy ONE. GALLON. OF. GAS.” I almost went to tears laughing.
Anyway, about the tat, and the big ‘surprise’:
stuff
I think the people wondering about the tattoo, are wondering where it came from. Not that Fray gave it to himself, or Bender put it on Fry. But WHO created it to begin with? Why was it designed to look like Bender? … Anyway, about Fry being Lars. I suspected it pretty early on in the movie. Here’s my twisted reasoning: Lars had this crease in his forehead, that I thoguht was originally going to be a third eye lol. Anyway, as it showed Fry getting older with Lelu the narwhal, I noticed a crease had formed on his forehead too. Obviously it was supposed to be a wrinkle, but it was drawn weird IMO and it stuck out like a sore thumb on both Fry and Lars. It didn’t look natural like the Professor’s wrinkles. So I thought, “hmm, I wonder if Lars is Fry.” :wonder: I just hope they don’t use this as a cop out to say that Lela has been in love with Fry now. I want to see Fry and Lela actually get together!
And it’s weird. I normally don’t successfully call things in movies. In fact, I specifically try not to think very far ahead. If I end up predicting something awesome, and it doesn’t happen, I’m let down. If I end up calling it, I’m still slightly let down because I’m not as shocked as I would have been. I just try to immerce myself in the movie as deep as possible, and go through whatever the characters are going through.
that movie was dope. the whole hermes and barbados slim scenes had me dying, lol.
“cruel runnings, mon”
I didn’t even realize this was out… I must own this now…
Did anybody watch the DVD special Hypnotoad episode? Like, all of it? I skipped through it in like 20 seconds. It appeared to be 24 straight minutes of hypnotoad lol. Did anything actually happen?
^just some commercials, that’s it.
…long live Futurama…
Do any of you guys remember the clever quotes from the beginning of the episodes?
My favorite:
“You can’t prove it doesn’t happen”
If anything, I want to see Amy’s dirty tatoo that our low resolution TVs can’t make out.
You can actually make out Amy’s tatoo, since it was actually drawn and then blurred over.
“I checked my list.”
“Well, check it twice!”
“I perform over 50 megachecks per second!”
