Never had any gate issues with my Brawlstick before I switched to octo.
Hope you guys don’t mind me a question but, do you guys know any deals on PS3’s? I don’t have any luck finding any deals here. Preferably at a store.
you probably can’t use square gate, it has nothing to do with the stick itself being bad.
I’ve actually heard a lot of reports saying the same thing even though the complainers were experienced stick users.
Usually Target has one of those wacky deals. They had a deal where if you buy a bluray you get a 100 coupon off a ps3. So I bought a blu-ray returned it and later that week picked up a ps3 for 200.
GoHastings has a 20% off offer going right now on used consoles/accessories (coupon code ALWAYSSUNNY), and there’s quite a few different models still in stock.
Of course, there exists the downside of a limited (30 day) return policy, but used systems tend to sell very quickly when there are deals on them.

It’s a bad part. Riding the gate, holding down-back, I only get down. I’m not saying all Brawlsticks are bad, but there are many bad eggs. Jerk.
Anyways when you buy a Brawlstick, you’re not paying for the parts. You’re paying for the case, pcb, and the labor.
