This has 5ms response time instead of 2ms response time like the Evo monitor, so you might see ghosting. This monitor still has little to no lag.
For everyone who remembers the awesome of last Christmas’s Steam sale, they’re doing it again right now.
Steam sale has tons of stuff marked down as part of the sale running from now through July 4th. There are also going to be daily sales on specific items. If this one is at all comparable to last winters, there is tons of stuff that is too good and too cheap to pass up. I will recommend one thing though: if something you want is marked down, but is NOT part of the daily sale, then do NOT buy it until the last day of the sale. Many things that are currently marked down will end up part of a daily special marked down even further. If it shows up as part of a daily special, grab it, otherwise wait until the end of the sale. I would have saved a ton of money last sale had I done this simple thing.
Oh, and if anyone grabs something that leaves them with a giftable TF2, please get ahold of me to work something out
I’ve been using this monitor for the past 6 months actually. If anyone is on the fence about it you should definitely get it, I haven’t had a problem yet and there’s no latency issues. It’s also pretty damn big
Does anyone have any cheap/casual games on Steam as a gift they would be willing to trade? I still have my gift copy of Half-Life 2 to give out but I’d like to trade it for something little if possible. The only games I have on Steam are the ones that came with the releases of Half-Life 2 and The Orange Box.

My local Sam’s Club had a SE FightStick bundled with Street Fighter 4 (original) on 360 for 41 dollars. They do require a membership to get into the store though.
Hey I’ve been looking at asus monitors to get for my 360 and noticed a recent price drop for some reason, but they used to be about 330 at newegg, but got dropped down to 299.99, but while randomly thinking about seeing how much walmart would charge to laugh at the overpriceness it’s actually only 258.54, and the shipping is only .97 cents to home, or free if you wanna pick it up at your local walmart. Keep in mind the vw266h is good for the 360 ONLY. if you don’t have a 360 jus stick to trying to get the evo monitors.
got a ASUS VW246H at amazon for $219.99 w/ free shipping. awesome deal. i would have bought it at buy.com for $215.99 but they charge tax which is like $10-15 extra, but amazon doesn’t charge you tax. would rather pay $4 more than $10-15
