I bit for Duke. I passed on BL3. The people who worked on BL3 got fucked by Randy so I can’t support that game even if that means it indirectly hurts the people who worked on it.

I haven’t played Eternal since the end of April but I played it this weekend, and holy hell did I miss it.
I think I stopped playing because I was pressuring myself to finish UN as fast as I could, but I wasn’t good enough yet, so playing it was stressful (particularly in the evening after a stressful and tiring day at work).
I’m going to get back into it again and just play NM a bunch (after this refresher UV run) and have fun until I really have everything memorized and planned out accordingly and am confident I can do a UN… If I can’t do a NM run without dying (and ignoring 1ups), then there’s no point in trying.
Right now, I’m refining a detailed walk-through guide based on my play-style and preferred upgrades (which is half the fun for me, strangely enough), but I can’t wait until I don’t have to refer to that anymore.

Seeing DLC coming kinda rejuvenated my hype. I’m gonna do a UV run soon as I’m done with Final Fantasy. I only beat it on HMP, but I beat 2016 on UV. Definitely gonna be worth it to play through again.

Honestly, you may have to start on HMP at least for the first few levels.
I beat the game 100% on Nightmare twice without dying too much and I started this weekend with an extra lives run on UV, thinking it’d be easy to get that bronze skin, but I couldn’t make it out of Cultist Base.
It wasn’t so much about forgetting the maps/arenas (though there were a couple enemies that surprised me), but just not remembering all of things to keep track of; I was barely using flame belch, grenades, and dashes. I was playing it like 2016 and getting killed. It wasn’t until I started my second, regular UV run that it seemed to click again (which is fitting because it wasn’t until the 4th/5th level before it clicked on my first play-through).
Edit: actually, just reading this post may help you keep track of it, lol. It also took a bit to remember the controls and instead of just running around in an empty arena familiarizing myself, I powered ahead and died a lot in combat. So think of this stuff and UV from the start should be fine. On this regular UV run of mine, where I’m ignoring 1ups (prep for UN), I’ve only died once and am on the Super Gore Nest. It isn’t that bad once you get into the flow of things.

I’m gonna go straight in at UV. I made it to the Cultist Base on UV in my first run and that’s where I dialed it down to HMP. Gonna punch through this time
