its because your og password is now cosidered too short. same happened to me. try to reset your password and create a new password with more characters. there is a character minimum limit to passwords.

I live! Gotta get used to the new layout. It’s pretty rough to look at currently. They could help a lot by not having so much margin on the right side where that scroll bar is, it is like 150 pixels wide it doesn’t need 1/3rd the page.

I was wondering if I could get a mod to change my email on my original account so I can recover it. I used a temporary email address years ago there’s no way reset my password. My original account is/was ‘Bigdewey’ btw.

I will expect you to know your old email, or at least pretty close to what it should be, as otherwise everybody would claim to be Pertho and need their account reset.

BTW dark layout at least doesn’t burn the eyes, it’s in your profile -> preferences -> interfaces. Could still do some actual layout positioning work but at least my eyes don’t burn anymore.

Ok I have a unique problem here. I did the whole reset my password thing solution and it seemed to work. However when I made my new password and got through it brought up my discourse account (didn’t even know I made one) instead of my old Shoryuken account. Is there a way that I can have the site recognize my Shoryuken account instead of the discourse one?
