Big news on a possible date. I got out of a meeting with Robert Jenks last week and him and I came to an “Understanding” on a few things.

  1. ** If this tournament were to take place at the Clubhouse as planned, you keep your money at home!** What Robert told me is that holding a cash pot tournament anywhere on AnimeFEST grounds(yes this includes the clubhouse) would require them to obtain an amusement license, witch they don’t want to do because it would jeopardize their “Non-profit” status. I think that it’s a bullshit reason, but it is their venue, their rules. Prizes are being lined up for first, second, and third place for the tournaments(and most likely anime related), but depending on their quality, this tournament may not happen at all.

  2. I want this tournament to happen in July-August. Everyone pick a date so that it will work best for this tournament. You can’t pick July 18th and August 15th. Those dates are already booked due to an anime club meeting(July) and the convention staff meeting(August). I think that I can work with any other date. If you pressure me, I’d say July 25th would work best.
