As for suarez, he probably did what anybody else would have done, you cannot blame him, personally iād like to see the ref be able to use there discretion with calls like that, for me itās easy to see that would have been a goal so just give it, letās not give a guaranteed goal and give a penalty which is a complete fucking lottery, fucking madness

Why would I be mad? I have no emotional investment in either team. Iām more disappointed in the way football is going. And it was hardly just a handball. This wasnāt some arm in the way of a cross that may or may not have connected to someoneās head. It was a guaranteed goal. Itās like a final round in a tournament, your ultra animation starting up for the guaranteed win, and your opponent yanks the power, except in SF youād be given the match rather than the equivalent of a restart with a 70% life lead and the chance, no matter how slim, of the opponent turning the match around.
Itās one thing playing to win within the rules of the game, like the turtling equivalent of running into the corner and holding onto the ball to run down the clock, itās entirely different to break the rules of the game to cheat out a win.
As for my āromantic idea of fair playāā¦ Youāre a fucking idiot. Iāve never implied I want them to play by a new set of my own rules, just the ones that are in the game in the first place. This isnāt on par with not tick throwing for honourās sake, itās more akin to not yanking out the other guyās stick when heās about to chip you for the win.
FIFA themselves make a massive deal of āfair playā, every player goes out with it sewn to their shoulder FFS, and itās FIFAās responsibility to enforce it but they never seem to have the balls to.
If that sort of bullshit started happening at EVO people would be wondering why the fuck nothing was being done.
