The Crew had a problem with this a couple times two years ago when we won the shield and cup. And we did it again multiple times last year when we won the shield again. I wouldn’t worry about it too much, but it is a pain in the ass.

i think man us biggest weakness this season has been their midfield, it simply aint as good as chelseas

Yeah, Man U’s midfield needs to get better. I like the progress of Park and Nani, but Man U relies on too many Vets like Giggs, and Scholes. I guess that is more Sir Fergueson’s roster manangement than anything else.
I totally agree that Chelsea whooped majorly this year. I lost count on how many times I relied on another team to keep Man U in the hunt. I just can not stand John Terry!!!

I still hate the format of the top team winning the cup. I like chelsea, but there needs to be a small playoff to make it watchable the last few feeks. Imagine if Man U and Chelsea were not close in points.
No, there needs not any more playoffs in football. There are so many tournaments as is, that having another one would just add the fixture congestion. In England, there’s already Champions League for the top teams (and Europa League for the semi-decent ones), FA Cup, Carling Cup, and then the Premiere League. Not to mention the stupid international friendlies and World Cup qualifiers.
The best equivalent to playoffs would be Champions League, and I suppose that would be the ultimate glory in club football. Which is better than any American sport’s playoffs because in order to qualify for it, a team would need to be the best in its domestic league, and there are so many teams in each country that it actually means something when a team qualifies for Champions League. That’s not to say that NBA playoffs, NFL playoffs, hockey, March Madness, whatever, aren’t exciting, only that playoffs seem rather redundant because each team already plays each other during the regular season.
Edit: I hate Chelsea. And United. And especially Spurs.

It’s a 38 match season, playing every team twice. There is no need for a playoff to decide the league winner.
Watch the League 2, League 1 and Championship Promotion Playoffs though. Often some of the best matches of the season.

That was a good game. Although Bayern did not score, they did put up a challenge. Those 2 times they slept on defense, otherwise this game would have been 0-0 for a long time. Bayern played better defense then what I thought they would, but too bad they could not capitalize on the other end, even when they had a few shots on goal that could have gone in. Congrats Inter.
They needed Ribery, they were never gonna win with only Robben barring a miracle. I hate Inter, but Mourinho is great for the game so Congrats.
