Its funny, cause caitlin now that i think about it, has been around intellects and people with good jobs and great careers. Iris had a shitball job, but being a barrista is hipster acceptable now. Like it still isnt a shit job because you make it gourmet. lol

Caitlin got chin checked by reality though, so i aint mad. lol. Seems we get a lot of zoom next week. I’m frothing at the mouth over it. Zoom is gonna mind fuck flash with his speed, and when he realizes he doesnt use the speedforce, but manipulates time.

Zoom never had time manipulation powers. He alters time relative to himself. He can slow or speed up time around himself to give the illusion of super speed.

It’s not that being a batista is hipster acceptable…it’s that you sometimes transition from collegend job to regular job til your career job kicks in. Happens in retail all the time…plus batista jobs like Starbucks give you a good amount of hours, pays well and now also pay for some online classes too.

Been catching up and can I just say that I seriously hate Iris?

As Barry’s link to the normal world and as someone to keep secrets from she worked but now she’s so self important and worthless but I’m waiting to see what contrived bullshit purpose she’ll serve later.

She’s still a subpar fighter and that happened after FOUR SEASONS. She had none of that the first 3. And for all her fighting ability that she gained, which isn’t much (though to be fair we’re comparing her to absurdity) she lost any of the common sense that she had. She gave up character development for the ability to throw a punch and use a nightstick.

I’ll admit, Iris adds very little to the show. She’s just plot convenience for Barry that could be given to anyone else. She could be removed from the show and very little would change. But I’d prefer someone that’s barely there to someone who legitimately makes things worse at every turn.

Laurel’s character development wasn’t making her a better character anyway. Throwing a punch makes her tolerable on screen.

I only like Iris around when she’s with Joe. Making him awesome is why I don’t completely sour on her even if she has little to offer.

So is anyone else bothered by the fact that they glossed over the fact that Jax becoming a superhero doesn’t do a thing to help solve the real problems he left behind with regards to his job and higher education? He’s still got bills to pay; who’s managing his mechanics shop while he’s out on his little spirit journey with Stein?

I didn’t think that was his mechanic shop, I figured he just worked there. Which he probably doesn’t now (or who knows, maybe he does, i dunno lol). I still dunno what exactly Firestorm does when he flies away with the Professor for awhile.

Iris I like, and I suppose we’re going to have to wait like good doggies while the inevitable Patty vs Iris gets into full effect.

I brought it up last page when Calitin guilt tripped him into becoming a hero without considering how much it would effect his own life. What they offered doesn’t change his situation one bit and all they’ve done was complicate it further. I bet none of those assholes told him he has to fuse with Stein once in a while in order to survive now.

So the right thing to do was let Stein die because he’s old and doing this has completely ruined Jax’s life right? It was obviously Stein’s time to go and they ruined a kid’s life just to prolong another that won’t last too long anyway and ties his life to Stein’s permanently.
