I feel that Zoom is a time agent in this show. The singularity from last season should have destroyed that Earth since Wells being erased from existence means that Earth can’t exist. I sincerely doubt the universe will stop trying to correct itself. I feel that’s why Garrick shows up.
Either way, there is going to be a genius version of Wells in the other universe, and probably with his wife still. They’ve already brought him back for flashback filming, wouldn’t be a stretch to bring him back as either another villain, or a hero this time.
I’m hoping they give Grodd more roles. I gotta admit though, how many more big bad speedsters we gonna get?
I’m also wondering if this is the season he properly learns about how the Speed Force works, learning he can siphon off other people’s speed.
I view her like those sports players wive’s you always see up in the upper levels. She’s there for moral support, and so he gets to hear her voice. Besides, wouldn’t you want the girl who’s proven to be your wife in the future, to be safe and nearby?

They should keep her in the niche of being a news reporter. Then she could be connected to a source of information even Cisco/Cait can’t even know about. At least she’d serve a purpose.
Or she could be Team Flash’s PR mouthpiece when she reports anything Flash-related to the public. I mean that’s pretty much what she is, and being where the action is means she’s always gonna get the scoop before anyone else.

I hated the fact that she was writing about Flash, and he thought it would endanger her. Like I’m assuming that there are like a billion Flash websites, youtube pages, facebook groups, and blogs, as well as all the other crazy heroes in the world. You’re expecting me to believe that Atom Smasher is gonna go check who’s blogging about Flash, to go after Flash???
He kidnapped her because he liked her and wanted her to blog that he “killed” flash. He was an ego maniac seeking attention from the world that didnt give a fuck about him before his powers, and wanted his crush to blog about him.
She was also the one stop shop for flash stuff, so it only makes sense that he would go after the girl he has a crush on, who blogs about flash, the guy he thought he killed.
Earlier in the series, Iris was pretty much the only one writing about “The Streak.” And if I remember correctly, she had more of the scoop since Barry/Flash actually talked to Iris.
Time Agents are the people responsible for keeping the time stream stable. Wells mentions Rip Hunter in the season 1 finale and he will be a character that will lead the team in Legends of Tomorrow.
Yeah, but zoom isnt a time agent for rip hunter, ever, to my knowledge, and do time agents send people through time/universes to kill other heroes. I’m pretty sure they dont. They just try to keep people like zoom from fucking up timelines because someone hurt their wittle feelings.
Tony Todd is only listed for 2 episodes on IMDB so it looks like we’re just getting villain of the week story again.
The flash season 2 imdb only goes up to like the first 4 episodes, and the rest are empty. Thats why you only see zoom listed for those 2 episodes. As the season flushes out and imdb gets the info to fill out, tony todd will definitely be a regular showing.
no hes talking about our flash’s earth. because of well’s time fuckery he altered how everything happened and helped cause the creation of the flash. the barry we watch is basically a paradox of shit. the original barry is the one who stopped our barry from saving his mom. everything after thawne arrived was basically a parallel world type shit…think sliders.
This show has already taken massive liberties with the characters. Zoom is Wally’s villain for instance. This show’s Zoom being a time agent makes to most sense to me with the little we know.
Zoom being alternate Reverse Flash makes more sense to me. Come to think of it, he’ll probably be the dude we saw fade away, at the end of Season 1.

He reminds me more of the black flash. Doesnt the blackflash steal speedsters speedforce powers and shit. Isnt he a reanimated Barry Allen?
