Is it wrong that I’m quite “meh” about the Savitar reveal…?
Nope, season is pretty bad. Just have to hope that Flash bounces back next season.
Finally saw the episode. Pretty sure tons of people called the ID of Savitar weeks/months ago. Man, this would have been a good time to take up betting.
So we got MK scarred Barry…man this needs some explaining.
Just call him Kabal. He’s fast and scarred up and likes to impale people.
Future Barry tapped into the Satsui no Hado or Satsui No Speedo.

There was 5 guesses to who I thought Savitar was. There’s Wally, Barry, Eddie, Julian, and an evil Bart Allen.
Julian seemed possible bc the writers are stupid enough, and Eddie who could’ve been resurrected and turned evil enough to kill Iris out of spite. Bart is just a throwaway guess, but that’d be assuming we haven’t seen Savitar’s face before this episode and ol dude would look racially ambiguous lol.
But Barry himself and Wally seemed like the most likely culprits. the “I created myself” is an obvious giveaway to either one, but I was counting on the writers throwing a super ridiculous curve ball. But I’m glad they didn’t, anyone else would’ve been a repeat of the last 2 seasons (well more than it already has been).
we all came up with way better theories in here. and why he turns evil is about be super bullshit unless its a time remnant.
Did Savitar ever mention why he’s evil? I’ve been not paying much attention this season and feel lost. I mean, what’s the point of Barry going back in time to kill Iris? It’s not even like he chose a special time to kill her that would erase something special (That I know of).
Bad writing.
Yeah this season is pretty much a throwaway.
I still prefer The Rival. No fucks given. He gave up his identity from the start. Which honestly was refreshing. He talked shit and was ready to fight. No drawn out episodes. No stalling.
Next season on The Flash: Barry’s illegitimate love child with Patty from Universe 3 visits Starlabs. He will befriend everyone for 12 episodes before he reveals himself as a traitor AND an evil speedster!

The whole reveal thing was old by season 2. The writers are using suspense of the reveal as a crutch for lazy writing. The show definitely needs something new in season four otherwise I might just skip the season and wait for it to come to Netflix.

There have been some Zoom nods in this episode with that coffee drink… Wonder if he’ll show up…
Remember that Zoom predicted that he and Barry are the exact same thing. They both went to the dark side because of all of the pain and suffering and so forth. Both of them lost their parents violently to begin with. What if Barry just goes back in time or forward in time where before Thawn initially goes back in time then kill Thawn at that point.
Team Flash even gave a nod to the Terminator franchise with all of the fucked up time fuckery and such. Hilarious…
Killer Frost and Savitar have similar parallels to Earth 2 Zoom and Earth 2 Killer Frost
What if Barry kills himself, then future flash will cease to exist. aka savitar will go buh bye.
The cheapest way this could this end: Evil Barry isn’t evil, but someone who couldn’t beat an even stronger big bad. So he goes back in time to kill Iris and motivates his past self to become stronger than him.
Basically this entire season ends up being a pathetic build-up to next season.
Again, not how it will work. Even if Savitar isn’t a Time Remnant, Speedsters have a very wonky existence with the S-T Continuum.
When Eddie killed himself eobard thawne was erased from existence. If that happened when there was several hundred years separating them. Then why not when its just a 20 years or whatever between now and when Barry becomes Savitar?
To the point that only we remembered him. The legends of tomorrow had no recollection of Eobart Thawne ever existing.
Cant some speedsters exist out of the timeline?
