basically what rock says. imo its wayyyy too early to bring in the speed force. thats like using a game genie after only playing level 1 of mario 3. but speed force in comics didnt come into effect for barry for about i’d say 10+ years. wally started using it i wanna say late 90’s. around 96 maybe…its basically around the time they introduced impulse is when the speed force came into play. Flash was still working the kinks while dealing impulse at the time before impulse got his solo series.
barry doesnt get it til the late 2000’s/early 2010s.
Hell yeah… I will need to watch that again later. MACH SPEED PUNCH™, folks. This is what it’s all about. This is quality entertainment.
*I hate when superheroes go around revealing their face to so many people though…even when the bad guy is in custody…is it really a good idea to let him know who you are? That’s stupid.
*sidenote 2-- niiiiice little shot of Dani Panabaker’s legs in this episode… there was a brief backshot on her too, in the early part of the episode. I’d ravage without question.
I thought that was implied weeks ago when he stood up out of his wheelchair and was reviewing a holographic image of a newspaper distant in the future, and when he said something like i’ll be seeing you soon barry, as he watched as barry got hit by the lightning in his lab that turned him into the flash.
The only person that could have that knowledge to do so, and the ability to travel around through time is professor zoom aka reverse flash (well there are other speedsters who can do that, but zoom seems the most likely, especially considering there have been no hints of people like max mercury and others so far). Traditionally it is suppose to be eddie thawn, the current boyfriend of iris, but thats probably not gonna get setup until way later.
Yeah, they will probably just go the obvious route, and then bring zoom back later. Eddie thawn used technology to make himself a speedster, to travel through time, and to access the reverse speed force, so if zoom is wells now, it can be eddie later for whatever reason. I really like wells as a character so far, so id like to see him rock it out a few seasons before he gets taken down. I mean, once you start getting past monster of the week stuff (which is dope so far), and then dealing with the inevitable breakout of all the bad guys captured, they could spend a season alone bouncing around in the future, past, and alternate earths.
I love how CW always makes their hot females selfish as fuck, and somewhat stupid. You just gonna not understand how in danger you are after your blogging lead dude right to you, and then inevitably to use you as bait for the flash. It also puts iris’s father at risk. They should have kept her an anonymous blogger for longer, making the hunt for flash bait a bit harder then walking down to the local coffee shop, or kidnapping her father/killing him.
I get it, flash told you to stop blogging about him, but didnt say why. Now you know why, and you just gonna be dumb and still do it. lol
Well look on the bright side Jimmy…the CW may make their women hot but selfish…but it still ain’t as bad as what Gotham is doing to its women (well…other than Mooney).
I don’t even care that she’s bi, I just care that they’ve done everything in their power to make her as unlikable as possible. They made her more unlikable than Season 2 Laurel and THAT’S saying something. I mean shit, at first it seemed that all was decent with that letter at the beginning of the episode. I could understand bouncing for a while and being shook because…quite frankly, it’s Gotham City. But then the end of the episode happened and…just, WTF man? Girl on girl makeout scenes do not save characters from hatred Fox!
There’s many different other things wrong with Gotham, but she just…she pisses me off like only Sakura has before.
Yeah but the difference is that there’s isn’t a hard suspect on Arrow that fits all the way around. Closest is Ra’s ordering it but I still have reservations due to motive.
Here though, Flash is doing everything in its power to put a neon sign over Wells saying “THIS IS ZOOM!” so it’s a bit unnerving.
