I just don’t want to join any server yet, cause they might go, well in 2 months server transfers! So I’ll wait it out a bit more.
The nice thing about ffxi was that they had new dlc here and there, new quests, new missions, new jobs. The one thing I did with ffxi is once I hit lvl 75 with one job and it became way too easy, I took a job that I thought others were doing wrong or find a new way of playing said job.
I do however agree, the fact that people can get to lvl cap in such a short amount of hours, is kind of saddening, I really enjoyed the exp grind that I had to do back in the day. But oh well, we shall see if I play this game as long as I played ffxi (5-7yrs?)

Guys I’ve made a character, but I don’t think Im paying for a character yet, but I can’t add a character to my service account…
How do you add a character to your service account?
Are you getting the error that says something like, “Current service account does not allow for more characters to be created in this world.”?
I was getting that error. Just restart the client. Also, if you were in the betas, make sure that you don’t actually have a character on that server.
I made a character on Midgardsmr or whatever it’s called. I plan on playing about an hour or two a day. I’ll be surprised and saddened if I cap within a month. And even if I do. There are a bunch of other classes to level up, so I think I’ll be okay for a while.

I’m here, playing all fuckin’ day, sitting in my computer, leveling the fuck up. Ya’ know, sometimes I step out, I still need to do my work out and training, ya ya… but that shit only takes 3 - 4 hours out of my day.

I’m gonna look at drivers for this, At standard settings, full screeen 1024 x 768 the game is smooth, but it keeps pausing and the audio keeps dropping in and out. On a EU server, but this doesn’t feel lag related.

That reminds me of the swtor launch, the game was just glitchy for like a month or 2 even on super awesome computers.

So updating the driver helped, my framerate sucks ass, but it stopped pausing, a whole lot of sound issues though, i was hearing my footsteps on a delay, like I’d come to a complete stop, and hear a few more footsteps before they stopped.
And then my game crashed with a pure virtual function call R6025.

Error r6025 is usually caused by a corrupt file, and I might have to reinstall the 8Gb downloaded game…
The level 40 zone is ridiculous. It’s huge, and at the moment full of so many people because everyone is sitting around waiting to see if behemot spawns, it’s ridiculous. There are like, a dozen fate farming groups up at a time, fates are over in 30 seconds there are so many people killing things. One of the fates is a 3 parter were you end up fighting this dragon, all in all an easy 40k experience every half an hour or so. The thing is, there are so many people fighting her that she sometimes disappears because the game can’t load so many people and companions on screen at once, theres literally probably 150-200 people on the platform but you can only see maybe 30 or 40, makes the fight kind of lolzy. I hate to think what it looks like on ps3.
