Well, that’s a good point actually. She was clearly someone who was all about “practical” in the last game. The feathers and adornments seem out of place. Someone had to have put her in charge of something. She’s probably some kind of colony leader as they move into Gran Pulse. That or the L’Cie are somehow reviered now.
FFXIII still sucks major nuts. No way in hell that I’m playing this.

I know I’m sounding like a troll but theres no way people actually liked FF13. TO me it was the biggest gaming dissapointement ever.
I stopped playing when they gave me Lightnings Summon and then switched my party on me again lol. I was like “God dammit…fuck this shit!”
I’m really hype for all these. Agito especially looks fun, and it’ll be on 2 UMDs? it comes out this summer so I will probably import it. I’m excited

If they are going to use high fantasy settings then please, for the love of rpg, don’t use jazz (or w/e genre XIII used) this time.
I guess I’ll wait for III-2 to drop down to $20. Lightning looks sexy. I didn’t really like III, but I thought the music was pretty good.
Versus III looks awesome though. Don’t care about Agito or whatever since it’s PSP.
Meh. Rather would prefer the time invested to be put into a new game or XV.

Final Fantasy XIII was the first FF game I really had to PUSH myself to finish… To say I was disappointed was a huge understatement. Of course, I’m also the first to admit that I like predicatbility and classic genre conventions… and FF13 while highly predictable, didn’t offer much in terms of JRPG genre conventions to me, it felt like it tried too hard to be different and to break the mold… (Oh and easily to me, had the worst combination of story / writing in a Final Fantasy game and I thought that title could never be taken away from my least favorite FF, which I shall keep to myself to not derail thread)
Needless to say if the same team that did XIII-I is doing XIII-II, I’m not sure that I’m on board… And I can say that would be the first numbered Final Fantasy game that I will have not bought… and I can’t believe I’m saying that.
And there’s nothing wrong with Jazz, but the orchestration and the actual arrangements were just sub par. FF XIII also had the worst combination of music to mood of any FF, something that traditionally FF has always done well… Nobuo Uematsu was the master of this with limited tools and it was even done well in X, X-2, and fairly well in XII… I just don’t know what happened with the mess that was XIII…
Nah, I like Jazz myself, but w/e that was in XIII it was bad. Tracks themselves ain’t good already plus whatever plays at the background doesn’t fit w/e was happening on screen.

The battle theme was ill. The whole soundtrack felt more light than other FF’s
99.9% of the music in XIII was ass. jazz in an rpg? take that shit elsewhere, out of ff, IMO.
