I’ve been playing Tactics, War of the Lions since my summer started. I can not put this game down. Even something as arduous as level grinding has become fun and rewarding. I stay up til 3 a.m in order to continue battling. I’m into chapter 3 now (spent alot of time grinding.) and the story is top notch. Never has a Final Fantasy game compelled me like this. Ramza and co. are definitely awesome characters and this iteration of Ivalice has captured me far better than FFT:Advance. Here’s to FFTA2 being even better!

Still no news on their new MMO, wow…i wonder if they’re still that early in development or maybe they restarted development in the last 3 years cause fuck, its been 3 years + since the project was announced.At least we’ll be getting some FABULA NOVA CRYSTALLIS news, hopefully something other than a 10sec extended trailer…
FF4’s English voices sound quite good, save for Rosa’s. Yes, they should have an option for the original track for those that want it, but I suspect storage is an issue for a DS cart. I’d rather have a good dub then the original track, personally.
DISSIDIA looks so good. Kefka is in the villains poster, according to the this, and I’m anxious to see who his FF6 counterpart is. I’m really hoping it’ll be green-haired Terra (blonde Terra is an acceptable alternative), and hoping that it isn’t Celes.
In other Dissidia news… that FF1 Warrior is going to KILL Sephiroth. Leather + katana <<< SUPER SPIKY PLATE + Sword + Shield.

Sephiroth still needs time to plan the whole Meteor cast anyway; like all of disc one was him doing it. By then, Warrior of Light will be walking around with the dude impaled on his spiky plate helmet. People’ll be all like “hey dude you got something on your head” and Warrior will brush off a dead Seph.

i had ffx for liek a week now. its pretty fun sphere grid is dope but im not sure if im really where im supposed to be( yuna is near marrying seymour) i wish i had alot more ap right now.

I made Kimarhi follow Wakka and Auron’s paths. Best heavy hitter I had. :p:

Damn, throw him down Auron’s path stat. Tidus is like, the third best character in the game (Yuna being top and Wakka second for Attack Reel madness).

I let my friend borrow my FFVII when Advent Children came out because he wanted to know the story. He has since lost it and I’ve been without a copy. I’m kind of pissed off because that was literally my favorite game and that shit is out of print now and I’m not going to shell out $50 for a game I didn’t lose.
I really do hope that they remake FFVII, I don’t really see why they don’t considering they’ve re-released 1-6 and VII is considered the most popular anyways. The only worthwhile spinoff they could make would be a remake.
What are people’s opinions on the re-released versions of final fantasy IV, IV, and Chrono Trigger on the PS1? I recently bought both, but haven’t tried them out yet.
They are basically glorified ROMs, and the framerate kind of chugs at times.
This has been addressed before by SE. They said yeah they know all about the calls to remake FF7. While they would like to this, however in order to they’d have to bring back the entire original team who worked on the game.
Obviously this would be pretty difficult logistically since some people who were a part of the original project are either currently busy with different games (Kitase with FF13, Nomura with FF13 Versus, etc) or have since moved on (Sakaguchi and Uematsu on Mistwalker). Now you might ask do they really need Sakaguchi and Uematsu back? Considering SE owns the rights to FF7 storyline and music I would imagine still that the fans at least, if not SE, would want the original composer back to create some new tracks for an FF7 remake. If not new at least update some of the music which were limited by the MIDI format.
I think they said that after all the current projects are complete they’ll see if they can get everyone together and work on a remake.
